We spent 2 nights in this hotel. Good location (really close to Empire State Building, friendly and helpful staff, our room was clean, the bed is comfortable (little bit small - 140cm wide), free morning coffee. Really great price value.

Please stay AWAY... 1) Hotel has a shared (!) bathroom/ shower down the hall. One per floor. Your reservation will say "private", but what that means is that it "can be used one person at a time". Considering it is one per floor, the wait in the morning is >45 mins to brush teeth/ use restroom/ take shower. I wish...

I do apologize that you were not satisfied with the economy room you that you booked. However, there are only 2 rooms that SHARE one bathroom on the floor you were on. All of the other rooms on your floor have bathrooms en suite. Additionally there is a sink in each room so tooth brushing can take place in your...

I stayed for 5 nights in early December 2016. This was my 1st trip to NY so I had little idea what to expect in terms of quality - especially in view of the reasonable price compared to some other hotels. Fortunately any apprehensions I may have had were soon set aside immediately after arriving at the hotel. We were...

After reading a review on here about a guest's card being cloned, when we had already booked and paid for the holiday, we used a never been used credit card to check in and didn't use it again ourselves. Sadly it was cloned and used in an NYC supermarket 2 days after we checked in here, so clearly there is...

A large quiet room right by Grand Central. The hotel is cute in its decor and service was pretty good. The heating was a bit erratic due to it being centrally controlled and the housekeeping was done in stages but I would stay here again.

My brothers had previously stayed at the Seton hotel and highly recommended it to me on my solo trip to New York. Firstly the location is extremely good, sitting in midtown Manhattan, you're only a few blocks walking distance from Times Square, Grand Central & The Empire State building. Being fairly central meant that everything you'd likely want to see...

First, for us, it was in a really good location - easy to walk to all the attractions, easy to find and not too far from the subway. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel was clean. Facilities were a bit basic but we didn't pay loads so didn't expect much. The bed was a small double,...

Finding a clean, well-kept, respectable midtown Manhattan hotel for under $100 is a goal that has eluded me for a long time. The Seton is such a place. The rooms and common areas are up to date and immaculate. The location near Grand Central Station is very convenient. One bonus is the desk team who greeted me like a dear...

This place is perfect for the solo traveller. It is conveniently located just a walk or subway ride to anywhere you could want to get to. The check in and check out process was fast and easy. The rooms are dark but very clean and modern. An affordable mid-range priced accommodation in a sea of expensive hotel options in New...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
