Great location, loved our stay excellent staff fantastic views from our room, breakfast in the diner a real American experience. We stayed for Christmas, our first trip to New York, the check in was easy, our room had a great view of the Empire State Building and the Chrysler building, which was amazing. Stayed here for 5 nights in March. Yes the rooms are slightly on the small side but that is an NYC Hotel trait. The location is ideal being across the road from Penn Station which makes it very easy to get to and it is only about 1 block away from Macys. We flew into JFK and got the airtrain...

Stayed in this hotel from April 7th. to the 11th. We were in room number 2116, and yes the room was on the small size, but not that small to worry you. The bathroom and closet were easily of a three star standard and there was a free safety deposit box. The staff are helpful and courteous throughout the hotel....

When we arrived Mohammed was the perfect host, he managed to give us rooms on the same floor, this was ideal as we traveled as a family. Great views of the empire state from the room, the rooms were cleaned to a high standard. Staff we friendly and polite. The location was perfect in the heart of Manhattan, Macy's is...

Right on top of Madison Square Garden and a minute from the subway, the location could not be better. Faded art deco glamour in style and has that NY buzz to it. Amazing views if you are high up. WiFi to cope with work crises while on hols. And a well equipped gym to work off all that fab NYC...

Love the Art Deco building and the history of this hotel! Massive rooms with plenty of space for excess luggage. Great location in midtown across from penn station and Madison square garden. The restaurants on site are a reasonable standard and do everything quite well, except for coffee ;) very reasonably priced for the standard you get with this beautiful...

A colleague and I were in New York for a business trip. We started our trip at another hotel, only to be EXTREMELY disgusted after one night. Both my friend and our office called The New Yorker, they were EXTREMELY accommodating and willing to let us stay there for the remainder of our trip. Once we entered the room, it...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
