The MAve is a wonderful boutique hotel that I discovered about a year ago. I have since stayed there 5 times and think it is the best hotel in NYC. The staff is friendly, courteous, and helpful. The rooms are extremely comfortable with a modern and elegant decor. If I could change on thing about The MAve I would make...

I booked the MAve as part of an Expedia package after a friend recommended it. I read a few of the reviews on TripAdvisor and went ahead and booked. Right from the moment I walked in, it was a fantastic experience. The staff were efficient, helpful and friendly, nothing seemed too much trouble. They offered to help us with dinner...

We stayed in this hotel for four nights, and has nothing but good things to say about the place. Very friendly staff, CLEAN room, great location and good value for money. Our room was a little small, but we knew in advance and booked the room based on that knowledge. Will stay here again!

I had a great stay at this hotel in Manhattan down by 23rd St and Madison. Good location (and not too busy), but easy to get taxis and subway. The staff team are EXCELLENT and treated me with that personal touch. I got the sense that there were not the typical hotel chain, and had a boutique feel. Rooms were...

I was really delighted by this place. The reception staff were so friendly, even though we arrived late at night. They gave us restaurant advice, maps and sparkly pens! The room was lovely and clean, a reasonable size for NY, funky and had lots of pillows! The only downside was the air-con unit blocking part of the window (but what...

The MAVE we found to be a delightful small hotel in a fine area of Manhattan. The staff was very attentive, the price reasonable, and the rooms extremely comfortable. We will definitely stay there again.

Was required to be in NYC for a business trip... From the word "go"...this hotel was a nightmare...almost comical! Felt like I was in a Chevy Chase movie: 1) The room itself is a shoe box...very uncomfortable even by NYC standards. 2) The shower is very strange! No shower curtain or door...so, everything in the bathroom got wet! Then I...
