What a fantastic hotel. As usual, I'm always a bit worried about walking into a hotel I've not been to before but from the first moment, the welcome and quality of this hotel was obvious. The reception staff were very friendly and couldn't hep more. The room was pretty big for New York and the bed was huge and comfortable....

The Mave is exactly what you want for your stay in NYC. My friends and I just went the US Open for 5 days and found a deal on the Mave, which made it even better, but I'd pay full price for the service and amazing bed. Best night sleep I've ever had, and I always stay in Westins for...

This was a great place to stay. We had a terrible journey over and were really late to arrive but the member of staff who greeted us made us feel really welcome. He also recommended a super bar which was perfect for 2 weary travellers. It was my partners birthday and when we got to our room we had cakes...

New hotel with small (but expected in NY) rooms. Very clean. Chic modern decor. Good value. The hotel staff is very accommodating, cheerful and helpful. Close to subway, and lots of restaurants. I love it here. I visit NY twice a month - It's my new favorite boutique hotel in New York!

When we arrived at the hotel, we expected the classical big room. In reality we found a very small room, clean, but small. You can imagine a family of 4 people with 6 luggage. It was difficult for us to move in the room. Even the bathroom was small and the shower was not closed and everytime we had a...

I stayed at the Mave with my daughter - it was very convenient, great helpful staff. They gave us several restaurant recommendations which were excellent. Breakfast was nice but would have liked someplace to sit. Room was tiny but expected for NYC

We stayed for 4 nights in a Queen Room and loved it, it was stylish with beautiful Bedding and tolietries. It was very clean and fresh with a great shower, and had aircon which was great. The breakfast was lovely, and the pastries to die for. I don't drink coffee but my husband said it was really good, every morning i...

We stayed with our two teenage sons at The MAve in June 2010 to celebrate my 40th birthday. The hotel is in a convenient and walkable location to the main hub of NYC. The rooms yes are small but have everything you need and are clean and maintained well. I see from other reviews that it was noisy and yes...

My wife and I were in a double room which was very small. Nowhere to put an open suitcase, and only possible to exit the bed on one side. As a "crash pad" it was OK, but no more than that. The kids had a twin (which we had to pay quite a bit more for) which was roomier. The...

The MAve is well-located and well-priced--these are its main recommendations. The place has some style, the free wi-fi, flat-screen tv and iPod dock are nice touches, and the staff is friendly and helpful--but in the end, the selling point is a clean room in a prime Manhattan location. We are former New Yorkers coming back for a visit, and we...
