This hotel was in a good location, 5 minutes walk from Grand Central, 15 minutes one way to Times Square, 15 minutes to Empire State Building. The rooms are a good size and were cleaned effectively. Staff were friendly and helpful when we needed them to be. The beds were comfortable as well. You do get outside noise though so...

Check in was easy with the friendly staff, but totally offset by finding the room dirty and the bathroom disgusting. The hotel is in a great location and the rooms big for NYC but nothing makes up for a dirty room, stains on the carpet and a filthy bathroom. Sadly this is not the first time I've experienced this at...

Good sized room, bed comfortable. Mini Bar a bit expensive but not unusual for any hotel. Unfortunately there were no tea or coffee making facilities but apart from that very good. Friendly and helpful staff.

Stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights. The location is two blocks from the subway and easy access to all of Manhattan. Clean and very large rooms (by NYC standards). Staff was friendly and helpful. Getting a cab or uber can be tricky since the hotel is surrounded by one way streets.

Got a great rate during thanksgiving weekend, pretty close to grand central station. Pros about this place: Their rooms are pretty big compared to most other hotel rooms. The staff were very helpful and courteous, also kind enough to charge our phones since we forgot our chargers. Clean rooms. No baggage holding fees. Cons: bathrooms are outdated and need renovation....

The rooms were quite dated, I had stayed here 8 yrs back and the standard has dropped drastically. The first room we got had major spots on the carpet, and sides of the bathroom tub had major water damage and corrosion. Luckily we were able to change the rooms. The second room was better as it was facing the street...

We stayed here for 4 nights over the Christmas holidays. After a disaster at the airport with our flight being delayed, then the tour operator forgetting to book our transfer, we were so pleasantly suprised with this hotel. Fab location - 39th Street, lexington av. Central without all the crowds. On arrival the receptionist was so friendly and offered us...

The Court - A St Giles Premier Hotel Very disappointed with my stay, The Court was definitely not a "premier" hotel. There was not a warm welcome at the entrance, Although I must say Michael at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. The lobby area was very dark, the sitting area was dirty, carpet to elevator is very...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
