I booked super last minute and got an amazing rate for Times Square on a Friday night. When I arrived around 11, there was one front desk agent, and it took forever to get checked in. I was annoyed, because I was sleepy. The agent said that I got a great upgrade to a suite, which I knew from my...

Loved this hotel. We were on the top floor and the views were stunning. The team are friendly and nothing was too much trouble even though we arrived early. The location is second to none - we walked pretty much everywhere and really handy for shopping too. I'd definitely recommend the hotel to anyone visiting that wants to be near...

I booked this hotel in hopes of surprising my fiancé with a great date night. I'm a student, so I had a budget to work with. I figured since it's a Hilton it was going to be everything I was hoping for. Unfortunately, it's pretty outdated and they DO NOT read or follow through with any special requests you leave....

Stayed once again at the Hilton Times Square. The location is great, and the service is better. Special callout to the from desk and Raquel Ortiz who are so welcoming and friendly. They went out of their way to let us check in early as we were tired from our very early flight

Diamond member, Checked in 2pm, the room I wanted was not ready yet, but they did offer a different room. Since it was an hour prior to normal check-in I took it w/o complaint. No water (typical perk) was offered, so I assumed the water was already in the room, This is a Hilton after all. No water in the...

This is the most basic and dated Hilton Hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Although it’s conveniently located, it has few facilities and is poorly organised. Hilton Times Square has 2 entrances which is an advantage because you can exit onto W 41st St to avoid the crowding on W 42nd St. But you also need to let cabs know that...

The Hilton in Times Square is perfectly positioned for seeing New York. It's based on 42nd St between 7th & 8th Avenue. The Empire State Building is 8 blocks in one direction and the Rockefeller Centre 8 blocks in the other. On arrival check in was very quick and efficient. We were placed on the 41st floor which not only...

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Even thought it is in the heart of time square you would never know it. The lobby starts on 21st floor so that in itself puts you high enough from the hustle down on the street. My wife and I had a wondeful view form our room. The staff was great and...

We chose Hilton Times Square as a central and modern weekend point for our visit. From the hotel we are at New York's mid point. We are minutes walk to broadway, and within a 25 -30 minute walk to both south-Greenwich Village and north-Central Park. We found their room to be great, beds comfortable, service to be very good, and...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
