Upper West Side
Nestled between Central Park and the Hudson River, the Upper West Side offers iconic architecture and a quiet, residential respite from the buzzing energy of downtown. Along Central Park West are many of the city’s most iconic apartment buildings, as well as the American Museum of Natural History, which has been welcoming visitors to its historic exhibit halls for over 140 years. Culture fans will love Lincoln Center, home to some of the world’s best opera, dance, film, and theatre performances, all centrally located around a beautiful fountain. Spanning the entire length of the Upper West Side, Riverside Park is ideal for a long, leisurely stroll in a quiet green space.

The Belnord is completely refurbished, and our double room had an extremely comfortable bed. Warning: there are only about 4 inches between said bed and the wall on one corner, so larger folks might want to steer clear (or get a larger room). There's nowhere to sit but the bed.

There is an overnight parking garage around the corner off Broadway from the hotel. We were lucky and found a spot right in front on the street. So, I'm not sure of the cost in the garage.

"Ask for a quiet room. If it’s noisey, demand to be moved. They were good about that."
"When booking ask for one of their bigger rooms."
"quiet room if you dont like the noise of machinery"
"Be sure to get a remodeled room, and ask for a city view- otherwise, your window is looking at a wall (I kept the shade drawn)"
"Our room (4th floor) was great. No view but that's not what we needed- the AC was nice but also could open window for fresh air"
