We stayed at 414 Hotel two years ago and found it to be the perfect locale for us. We were able to walk to all the plays and restaurants we had on our bucket list, as well as Times Square, the High Line, and Central Park. The metro connects you to everything, but it's nice being in a central location...

My husband and I and another couple stayed at 414 Hotel recently and had a fabulous time. It really is much more than a hotel - from the wonderful staff who make sure you are comfortable and well taken care of to the terrific breakfast and happy hour snacks and wine - and the lovely room and extremely comfortable bed...

The hotel is very conveniently located only 5-10 min walk from Times Square. Also there are several restaurants to chose from right by the hotel. The hotel has, as I understood, only 22 rooms. Check in late on a Saturday night was friendly, and the guy who assisted us gave us a lot of useful information. We had a room...

Our third time here and it really is home away from home. This small boutique hotel offers big service for all the guests. Susan Yates greets us each morning, inquiring about our day, our plans, and able to assist with even the smallest detail. We've always enjoyed the chance to meet other guests, share stories, tips and ideas to make...

A "5-C" Boutique Hotel: Classy, Comfortable, Convenient (Broadway/Times Square/Restaurants), Caring [Susan/Andrew (when he's not visiting the grandson 😇/staff)], & Chic. They've added a morning "news sheet" with weather, tours & trip zips, hotel services. Entire staff is very knowledgeable about NYC that makes navigation around the city a "breeze" (well, you're in NYC, a relative "breeze.") Also, they provide umbrellas,...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
