Neighbourhood
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighbourhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.

Great location, room was clean. Very close to subway at 23rd--line 1 (red line). The breakfast was nice to have as most places charge extra for it. Even though we had a shared bathroom, we never had to wait long. Some of the staff could have been a bit friendlier and more

Hello, we can arrange transfer going back to the airports, pick up at JFK airport to the Colonial House is much easier & less expensive if you take the NYC yellow city taxis they have a flat fare of $54 + tolls\tip into Manhattan and can be found outside arrivals. Newark airport also has their own city taxi line outside arrivals there fare is about $70 + tolls\tip, I prefer the airtrain from Newark $12.50 each person to Penn station New york, then walk to us or taxi about $7.
