Excellent front desk staff & service. They allowed me to check in at 10am and shower. Even my room near the ice maker was quiet. Lobby bar has great inexpensive wines. Local food choices are great, such as Dimes Restaurant. Go for it. Terrific value.

Stayed here over thanks giving hotel was spot on for what we needed. Staff were great food and drink reasonable especially daily happy hour. Fantastic views of Empire State Building. If you like to go for a few drinks on a night the hotel is perfectly placed for all the nightlife on lower east side where you will find plenty...

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had, and I do not recommend for anyone to ever stay here. Our hotel room on the second floor was so cold it was hard to sleep, and the hotel staff were not helpful. I had turned the thermostat to the mid to high 70s, but this changed nothing....

The room was nicely appointed, modern, comfortable, and clean. Views from a 16th floor corner room were gorgeous— could see so much of the city from there, and the Manhattan Bridge extends across the East River from Brooklyn Heights and to land in the neighborhood— you get to see that from an interesting angle. The room was impossible to get...

We've stayed for 1 night (3 guests) in November. Pros: rooms were clean, with all basic amenities. The hotel is 10 min from soho, and right in chinatown, which provides the cultural experience of walking through the markets. Cons: staff was ok but there's room for improvement in friendliness and concern with the guests. Regarding the price i must say...

I stayed here for 5 nights with my dad in July. We were with a group of people all staying at different hotels and I have to say I think we chose fantastically well. People had paid so much more for their hotels and we had more in our rooms than they did. Very welcoming reception staff and the foyer...

Hotel is so so. Location is good in the heart of Chinatown, not far from Nolita. But hotel is the equivalent of a 3-star ratings. I wouldn't recommend to pay more than 200$ a night for a double room. Service is just ok, the minimum, no extra-mile. Terrible characteristic: you have to pay a fee for luggage storage which is...

This is what you expect of a Wyndham property. Easy check in --maybe a wee bit longer than some if you want to be picky. Bed was comfy. Location was convenient and central in Chinatown near the B/D stop at Grand Street. Our room, 309, was conveniently across from the ice machine, and no, you did not hear it at...

I stay here often. Vanessa at the front desk greets you with a smile and is helpful and efficient. Give her a raise and some flowers! Love this place.

Unfortunately my review will have more critiques than accolades. For those driving in (and leaving your car overnight) the valet drop-off is nearly non-existent during peak times - nothing is clearly marked; it's simply a parking spot on the corner of Bowery. Your car will then be driven to a satellite parking lot (my car was unscathed so no complaint...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
