We stayed at the Pod 39 hotel back in 2014 and loved it so much we came back to stay again. It really is the perfect location just a few blocks from Times Square with such affordable prices. The bar downstairs is also awesome for when you don't feel like going out to beat the crowds. I'd highly recommend anyone...

Pod 39 was a perfect solution for a quick business trip to NYC. I reserved a queen room and Maria P at the front desk got me into the room at about 1pm. Maria was fantastic: so kind and professional. The room was spotless, very well-apppointed and perfectly serviceable. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling on business. My...

I stayed at Pod 39 for 9 nights in January 2016. This was my first time to New York and I unexpectedly found myself without my travel partner a week before my departure date so I quickly needed a new, convenient hotel I could afford by myself. Pod 39 was recommended to be by a number of friends and I...

Well, if you have ever been to Manhattan, you know the hotels can be quite pricey! But, really, how long are you IN your hotel no matter where you go? So, these rooms are small, yes, but CLEAN, CLEAN CLEAN!!! Well worth the price, I think, especially for Manhattan standards! Stay here! Close to Grand Central Terminal! I have stayed twice...

The room was spacious, and super modern. The bathroom was beautiful and clean, like everything else in the room. Although you share the toilet facility, being right next to the shower, if you're staying in the room with someone you're comfortable with, it should be bothersome. The bunk beds were ultra modern, comfortable as ever and each one had its...

Hello pamela r Thanks for the lovely review. I'm glad you thought your bunk room was spacious! Our standard bunk rooms does offer a whole lot more walking space than our small bunks. Clean and very conveniently located hotel. Would definitely stay there again. Bedroom was very small but we knew that when booking. It didn't bother us as we were only there to sleep. Great roof-top terrace. Many restaurants and fast foods around.

I stayed in a single pod with a private bathroom, cloths hanging space, small storage, TV, single bed, table and chair. My single pod is adequately sized, but little storage facility. Oh well, I didn’t stay in much because the hotel is so close to all the attractions. I loved Pod 39. I might just stay there again. The concierges...

The positives: One of the hippest places in the city at a very reasonable rate. Great location for exploration and base camp. Friendly and accommodating staff. The not-so-positives: Salvation Taco (restaurant and rooftop bar) is a coin toss on quality of meal and/or service. Ambient noise in rooms near the elevator is very loud at times (and at all hours)....

It was just what we were looking for a hotel in Manhattan. Three blocks from underground systems and not very far from important attractions, such as Empire State, Times Square, etc. We were most of the time sightseeing but, we could relax at night with confort.

Great hotel in the Murray Hill neighborhood. My friend and I stayed in the bunk bed room for two nights. The beds are very comfortable and each bunk has its own tv. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
