All was close to perfect, only the breakfast was just average. The staff people seem to be bored from time to time, but in general we had a great time and a nice stay in the hotel. We had one of the nicer rooms with Times Square view, which is amazing.

If you like boutique hotels with a great location, amazing vibe, and unpretentious staff this is your place. From the check in with Nick (he was the BEST) to the attention we got from the manager, this was an unforgettable visit. The location can't be beat, either--close to Columbus Circle, theatre district, and 5th avenue shopping.

Everything from the service to the food and having Dayna Decker toiletries made this a perfect example of elegance and luxury in New York. The added value of breakfast, the evening wine, beer and appetizers plus water and free wifi included with your room was great. I'm surprised they called it appetizers because it was really a full meal

I have travelled to NYC of 25 years frequently and have stayed and most every 4 star and 5 star hotel in Manhattan so I think my opinion should be worth reading. The stay at West House was comparable to other 5 star hotels as far as cleanliness, décor, elegance and efficiency of operations. That is not considered to be...

The Westhouse Hotel was expected exceptional! I was here for a conference, then spent the weekend with friends. The service was wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed the concierge lounge. The decor was very well done. I would highly recommend this Hotel.

I visited the hotel with my wife to celebrate our first days together, and it was an amazing experience. The place is beautiful, elegant and super clean, with an outstanding service. We had a room with a beautiful view on Times Square, and I was gorgeous. We loved our days there

My room was a little bit noisy though I reckon that this is normal in hotels so close to the 7th Av. and Times Square. The service personnel was very discrete and professional. I trust to come back and see further improvements. Kindest regards

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!! The hotel is beautiful. From the time we walked in the lobby, the service was impeccable. The staff has gone above and beyond to make our stay incredible. A special thank you to Tasha and Milly for making me feel extra special on my birthday. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel.

The staff are very friendly and super efficient in service. Restaurant staff and cleaning staff always smiling and welcoming. I loved the king size bed. Comfortable and best sleep I had. For my first trip to the US this hotel was what made the experience brilliant. On the snow day the hotel was so considerate and accommodating to all the...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
