This was the second time we have stayed at this hotel. We could not have been more pleased. The staff is so accommodating, and the location is perfect, close to the theatre district and several museums. We also took advantage of the Opia Restaurant which is a quiet, comfortable place to dine. I am certain that we will opt for...

Stayed here Friday, Feb 17, through Mon, Feb 20, for the President's Day Weekend in NYC. I'm a frequent business/personal traveler to NYC so I know the city fairly well. I've always wanted to stay at Hotel 57 since they opened several years ago. When I saw a great rate for this weekend, I jumped on it. I should of...

Dear Guest, We appreciate the feedback. We're happy you enjoyed our prime location and comfortable rooms. However, we're disappointed that your stay with us was less than ideal. It's unfortunate our executive lounge didn't meet your expectations. We regret the challenges you experienced with our team and that they didn't go above and beyond to make you feel valued. We'll...

This was our second stay at the Renaissance New York Hotel 57. Our tour group booked the past two years. A very nice hotel, clean, spacious rooms and nice staff (very helpful!). For our sightseeing and touring needs, the hotel was perfect. We had breakfast there two mornings, good food, attentive staff. Stopped in the hotel bar in the afternoon,...

Booked an one-bed room studio; good furniture in room; great location. Also, compare with other Marriott hotels, it has a better value. Also, it closes to the Roosevelt Island tram; I recommend to take the tram if you've never done so.

Location - walking distance to most attractions AND FOOD. Very friendly and professional staff. Hotel interior is impecably designed, with blown glass and metal accents throughout. Room was clean and newly renovated. Beds were quite comfortable ( and I am 9 months pregnant with back problems). Yes, there was an issue with hot water pressure, but it was temporary, and...

This is the quietest midtown hotel that I have ever stayed at. Our room was right over Lexington, but I did not hear a thing all night. I was disappointed that there was no breakfast option for gold or platinum on the weekend, as that is an amenity that I have gotten used to as a rewards member. Otherwise, it...

Three of us met in NYC to catch a cruise. This hotel was recommended as a good location and it was! Our first room was the double bed version, and for three grown ups it was tight. So we asked if we could upgrade to queens or get a couch. We were given a great room, no view, but plenty...

This hotel was in a great location, within walking distance to many shops, attractions and restaurants. The main lobby and entrance was very clean and welcoming, with very nice decor. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
