Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I picked the hotel for its location. I ended up in what was clearly supposed to be an ADA compliant room - lowered clothes rack, roll-in shower, extra bars around toilet, etc. BUT they had put a sofa in the entry to the room, and the bed was large, so I question whether it would work for someone in a chair - just someone with mobility issues. Everything was cut down - no closet, just a rack, a "desk that was a couple of inches wide, etc. TV on the wall with a small shelf underneath. But given what I wanted the room for, it didn't matter. The bed was comfortable, and it was fine for one night. There was a bit of noise from the elevated subway line that runs nearby -- but it would make it convenient to public transportation. The desk was staffed by one person, so service was a bit slow - she seemed to be answering questions on the phone at the same time she was doing everything else. It was rated three stars, and that seems fair - but I have paid about the same price for a higher quality hotel in other areas of the city. I would probably only stay again if I had something within walking distance.

It was a nice and clean place, with a cozy roof terrace.
Unfortunately, our room was a bit small, but we shouldn't be there that much, so it didn't matter.
In the breakfast area, there was no room for very many, especially considering how many guests there may be at the hotel.
I still think it's a good place to stay if you have to have your base in Manhattan.

Hotel was good value for Manhattan.

We had an issue with noise early on but after speaking to staff on reception they moved us and new room was much better.

The staff do try to help where they can and that stands out in New York.

Breakfast was nice and sufficient.

We would return

Small room but we didn’t mind since we were not spending that much time there. Cold showers the first 3 days. The people working in the reception didn’t say much at all. The breakfast thou- not happy about that. You get close to nothing to choose between and all you can put on your toast is jelly or some cream cheese. For the money you pay you atleast expect some kind of healthier option. And you serve it to yourself with plastic plates and cutlery and also clean up after yourself.
It says that it’s soundproof rooms which is not true. We heard the neighbours pretty good. It was also really cold in the hallways.
Overall it felt more like a motel than a hotel which is cool if that’s what you’re expecting.

It was very clean, modern and big room with comfy bed. Check in and out was very easy. It is operated by a chinese company or owner. It is close to China town and less than 5 min walk from Subway. Guests have been loud on occasions from neighbouring rooms and coming late at night talking loudly and being inconsiderate.

I had a reservation but needed to change it due to having to have a procedure on my brain. I asked them to give me a credit to use at a later date, nope! They would not hear it. No manager to speak to. They will not give any refund or a credit to reschedule. WORST EVER

This is my second time at this Hotel and from the check in with Ting I had a great experience, she is the sweetest girl with a great customer service and patience to everyone.
The rooms and common areas are always clean, Yanilda, Luis and the other guy are very hard workers always cleaning and the room service is super fast.
Hotel is 5 minutes from the Subway.

“Would definitely stay here again!”
This hotel met all of our needs. The location is excellent - The subway station is at the end of the block. The free breakfast in the morning is all that one needs. Our room was clean and had two double beds. Everything is new in the room but the best thing was the costumer service that Mariana at the front desk provide for us she was very efficient when providing information for us thank you so much for everything,

Not worthy of a Choice Hotel. Overall, not a pleasant area. Train runs over the hotel. The room was may be 6 by 8. The bathroom was nice but the feet stuck into the dirt in carpet of the room. Had to use the bathroom to store the one big bag and the two small. Because I booked through Choice Hotel's "pay as you check in deal" (If you are suspicious of a hotel book separate, one day to see rest to stay). In out case, we had 5 nights; one separate and 4 bundled. Then we called the prestigious "Washington Squire Park Hotel" and got a really good deal, payed even less with my daughter's NYU discount. In this Comfort Inn, the breakfast was served at 7.30 but the space was not even ready by that time. Eggs and sausages felt like they were fried twice. No utensils, until late and had to ask for the boiled eggs.

The principal reason why we choose this hotel is because is very economic ( the most economic in NYC for the date I choose)
The hotel is located near a beautiful panoramic point to observe both Brooklyn and Manhattan bridge, really suggestive
Staff is kind and available. Rooms are really tiny, I know that New York rooms are little but our was quite claustrophobic ! But doesn't Matter ,the price was so low and the beds so confortable! The breakfast was fabolous! We really appreciate breakfast in this "Comfort Inn", a various chioice of food! Everything was ok here, enjoy!
