huuuge suites with perfect and modern forniture. in the morning we used to have breakfast in the small kitchen, using microwave and teamaker. we didn't use the complimentary access to the gym and pool because of our lazyness...but the fitness center is just few blocks away from the hotel. location is perfect, five minutes walking from times square, 30 seconds...

Stayed in NYC for 6 days at the start of February 2013 and choose the Kimberly. Could not fault the hotel in any way. The location itself is superb. The rooms were spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. The bed was great and the underfloor heating in the bathroom a real treat. We got upgraded to a luxury suite for our...

One word. The size of the rooms. We had a 1 bedroom suite, with balcony and living room, and it was really spacious, and the beds were so comfortable!.. It felt like we were staying in someone's apartment as you never feel cramped or closed in. The view was not the best, but we were out most of the time,...

The hotel was just fine - the decor of the rooms seem quite dated and certainly not comparable to its equivalently priced peers in the city (although still clean). One good thing it has going is that the rooms are bigger than those of its trendy peers which for a longer stay, it's definitely appreciated. The location was too far...

We stayed in the Chrysler Suite, which was huge and had a balcony and spectacular view of the Chrysler Building. Too bad it was frigid cold and we couldn't use the balcony! The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The service staff is great, too. And, the complimentary Wolfgang Puck coffee was delicious...a bonus! The only bummer was that since...

I cannot believe how fantastic this hotel is! From the location to the room and right down to the fantastic front desk ladies, we were beyond impressed by The Kimberly! The room service is the best food AND value in NYC! Honestly I was floored by the quality and amount of food coupled by the prompt and accurate service... all...

This is the second time I have stayed at the Kimberly Hotel - and on both occasions found it comfortable, convenient and slightly quirky. Quirky in that it is not perfect but the staff try hard to make things better when they go wrong. They are undergoing a refurbishment at the moment so there tends to be drilling and the...

stayed here a few times while working in New York. staff are welcoming and accomodating, the hotel itself has an oldfashioned feel. suites are spacious and nicely decorated. its great to have a kitchenette available. beds are very comfortable which makes up for the fact that the rooms are not noiseproofed, despite staying on the 20th floors and above you...

Just returned from a lovely one night stay at this elegant hotel. The old-world feel and hospitality was perfect for celebrating my grandmother's 103rd birthday. My mother, sister, grandmother and I were upgraded to the two-bedroom, two bathroom suite which was a real treat. We were on the 27th floor. The floor is short so it is not a long...

I spent with my large family group since Dec 25th to Jan 1st. The staff of the hotel was friendly and polite. Although the weather was rainy, the Lobby was dry and clean. Room is very comfortable and it has a good enough kitchen. Only a sort of creepy-neoclassic-or-Art noveau bar or table in the middle of the room disliked...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
