Salisbury Hotel is not for those who desire fancy - rather it is a hotel for the practical minded that want to spend their money on the NYC experience. Our family of six stayed at Salisbury Hotel and had a fabulous experience and we had...More
The location of the Salisbury is great! The hotel is a time warp but not in a good way! It's drab and a bit depressing. Our room wasn't clean and there was nasty sticky marks on furniture and a lump of sticky something on carpet....More
I booked the Salisbury for a great price via Hotwire for a December 2015 visit with my two daughters and sister-in-law. We had a two double room that was spacious and had a walk-in closet. We enjoyed having a fridge and microwave, so handy for...More

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

There is a little grocery store just across the road. We bought breakfast supplies the night before, (it's open very late, not sure if it's 24 hours though) and had breakfast in our room. We had a fridge and microwave in our room, so milk and cereal, and hot breakfast burritos were a cheap way to eat.
