Our stay was for 5 nights, and there were two of us in a bunk bed room. The first room was very tiny, hardly any walking room, a/c was broken, but they were quick to move us to another room. They were very helpful and...More
I wish I had known about this hotel the hundreds of times I'd stayed in other places in NYC. For the ridiculously short amount of time you're in your hotel in the city, paying more than $100 is just ridiculous--save that money and go DO...More
Stayed at the Pod for 3 nights while treating my partner to a weekend in NYC for his birthday. I have always considered staying here, and thanks to a $139 a night rate offered from quikbook, I took the chance. The location is great..its easy...More
Its a value for Manhattan and pretty close to the subway. Hotel has a roack theme to it. Bell boy helped with my luggage. Checkin was quick. Rooms are real real real small. Makes you feel like you are in a space capsule of sorts....More

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

When I stayed there was a very small hairdryer under the sink. There was no security deposit when I firm booked ans paid in advance. Prices vary depending on what day you go and not size of the room, one night I paid $100 a night another I paid $150. I suggest buying directly from their website rather than an outside source as you can get a 10% discount if you firm book and 5% discount on a flexible booking, not sure when this offer expires. And yes there are full bottles of shampoo conditioner and body wash in the bath tub that come out via a pump (not like the travel size ones that normal hotels give that you can keep). Be mindful that the rooms are extremely small but there is a tiny closet and storage unseen the bed. Enjoy!!
