Good location but too overpriced for what the actual hotel delivers in terms of value both in terms of hotel room size and amenities not to mention condition of the room. At more than $300 a night I would expect something more upscale.

We stay here for the location and ease of getting around the City. The lobby is fine; the staff was personable. The rooms are very small, window air-conditioners and radiator heaters. Luckily, we didn't need either - the window opened a few inches. Our room was quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable but had only one reading light on...

I will definitely stay in this hotel again! We had a wonderful experience. All of the staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was close to the Subway. The room was really small but it wasn't a problem. Cuz we didn't need a lot of room we just needed a comfortable bed and a bigger bathroom and that's what...

We have stayed there several times. The staff is great, the location is perfect for us and near great restaurants, transportation, etc. There is substantial construction going on over several months and it does seem rather old. There is always at least one elevator that is out of service.

Hotel didn't live up to expectations, neither did the service. For the price we payed for the hotel it felt like we got robbed. This was the 3rd time in Manhattan and unfortunately this was the worst of the 3 hotels we've visited. The biggest issue we had was the horrible wind through the windows. They had installed the a/c...

I write this review as I sit in my bed at the Belleclaire unable to sleep. The noise in my room is like nothing I have ever experienced before. An Air-conditioning unit that seamlessly links us to the outside world without the means to deflect the noise from outside. The plumbing is so loud that I can feel the bed...

Lobby area is fine, hotel staff attentive and polite, but the rooms are down in the heels. Not sure the hallways ever were vacuumed in the 2 nights/3 days we stayed here. Noticed the same dirt the entire stay. Not horrible, but you get what you pay for and you can find better accommodations.

I was very happy with my stay at Hotel Belleclair. I have always been the kind of person who gravitates towards staying in large hotel chains because you know what to expect. Therefore, I was hesitant to stay in a local hotel. However, it was great and I will definitely stay there many more times. I visit the upper West...

We stayed here and were very pleased with the location. On the corner of W. 77th. and Broadway. 2 -3 blocks from the main subway stations, 3 blocks from museums and central park. 2 blocks from the start of the Macy's parade. They blow up the balloons Wednesday on this street by the museum. Very close to restaurants, markets and...

Looking at the other reviews, it seems as though there are two different hotels within these walls! Our experience was good, but we are experiences travelers and we know what to ask for. When we checked in they were very friendly and helpful and showed us upstairs to a room across the hall from the elevators. No thank you! We...
