We stayed two nights (Friday and Saturday) in February. Although I knew the hotel from having stayed nearby, I had never stayed there. Chose it on the basis of price and location. The location is terrific--perfectly central for Manhattan. My room was small, but absolutely clean and well appointed. Bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was very quiet. I...

We have stayed at the Iroquois many times when we spend time in NYC. Easy and comfortable and close to theater. Staff is always efficient and polite. Our room (1009) was blessedly quiet, and the bed was super comfortable.

Booked the Iroquois after finding a tremendous price on Black Friday. From the time that we made our reservations until arrival, The Iroquois had been in email contact to ensure that all was ready for our arrival. Helpful maps and information preparing us for our trip. Once we entered the hotel the excellent customer service continued. From check in process...

We have stayed here many times through the year. A great hotel for the price. The elegance is a bit worn but you still can't beat it. Comfy beds, nice lobby with hot tea/coffee or cider. Work out room onsite and you are close to EVERYTHING!

I have been a client of the Iroquois for many years. Location is great, and I like its history and pocket size. But I have had to also see its decline, little by little. The gym was perfect in the 70's. The telephones looked modern in the 80's. The bathrooms and plumbing could have done with a revamp 20 years...

Stayed here for 5 nights in a premium king room. Location is perfect -easy access to several subways and walking. Lovely 'old' historic street. Room was very cold and bathroom even more so (not even a heated towel rail). When we asked we were given a small heater which helped. Bed was super comfy and room facilities good. Housekeeping was...

The Iroquois is ideally situated in Midtown Manhattan; a stone's throw away from Times Square, the library and Grand Central Terminal. The hotel houses a restaurant offering French cuisine and 'Lantern's Keep' (a cocktail bar). The staff gave me a warm welcome and greatly assisted me in a somewhat rushed departure, they're very accommodating and demonstrated the ability to go...

We spent a weekend in NYC and wanted to stay near Times Square. The Iroquois offered a great location. Room was clean, bathroom impeccable with bath robes provided. It was newly renovated. The room itself was small but that's fine as we don't spend a lot of time in there. Good quality television and free wifi with our package. Fruit...

We stayed here for the location and b/c we got a deal, as Triomphe was having an anniversary special during this time. The room and bath were more than adequate, but nothing special. The service was uniformly excellent. from baggage to front desk to concierge. Did not use the restaurant or room service. We like the 44th St. location and...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
