Rooms were ok, clean enough but bit smelly in bathrooms. Decent size with coffee making facilities, decent sized shower, no bath. Right at corner of upper Times Square so if that's what you want fine. However, bedroom windows let in all sorts of noise, nights...More

The location was wonderful, being in the middle of Times Square. The room (King) was spacious and the room service diligently restocks all the supplies daily.
On the flip side, I thought that a tissue box would have been considered to be a standard issue...More

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the

affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

I'm a bit of a shopaholic and usually adore NYC for the shopping . Was my 5th time there this year and shopping has gone severely downhill , not to mention the cost . Very little bargains to be had . Macys gave 20% off but every counter we went to didn't accept the discount , Woodbury common is lovely, but jersey gardens is better for shopping , but in saying that the shopping was so disappointing, all small and xxl sizes and very few bargains . The European shops are huge over there now H&M , topshop , forever 21( is that American actually ?) . Anyway to put it in a nutshell , there's nothing you can get There that you can't get at home( ireland) and cheaper . Did a huge amount of sightseeing and eating out this time and the experience was much better , have a great time !
My room was renovated but we were upgrade to a suite from a standard room. Our room was huge but truthfully I would stay in a smaller room because the location of the hotel is so fantastic.
