It's very accessible to landmarks. The room is very clean and cozy. It' s a great place to stay. Buffet for breakfast is also good, the crews are also friendly and hospitable. With regards to price it's just right!
The Blakely is always a nice getaway. The hotel staff are all very friendly and clean hotel. It's a boutique hotel in the center of it all. Walking distance to all midtown attractions. It's our 10th year staying in this hotel and for the price...More
We’ve stayed at the Blakely several times in the past and have never been disappointed. The location is perfect – you can walk to MOMA, the Met, Lincoln Center, and the theater district. There are several subway stations nearby which means you have access to...More
I've traveled to NYC many times, and this was (by far) the best hotel experience I've had. I hesitate it call it a 'boutique' hotel, but it does seem to fit into that category being smaller but well-located. I've found that a lot of other...More
Our first visit to the Blakely was a positive and pleasant one. We arrived at noontime and knew that our room would most likely not be ready so we left our luggage in their care and walked around the area to get acclimated to our...More
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

No, we do not have a rooftop bar. Inside, we do have a bar available in our restaurant, Black Tap.
As the warmer days are soon to approach us, our concierge are more than happy to assist in some spots with rooftop views.

Yes, there was quite a bit of construction going on. I didn't notice much noise in the morning, but we are pretty early risers. One night there was work going on until about 10:00? We sleep with a white-noise machine, so it wasn't bothersome to us. If you are a very light sleeper, I would take it into account.
