Gardens NYC welcomed my husband and I upon our late arrival and helped us get to our show expeditiously. I enjoyed my first three days in my clean, comfortable, oversized room. When my husband's hospital stay was extended after I checked out, staff helped me return to my same junior suite for two additional days. I appreciated the flexibility of...

We stayed here while my daughter was looking at NYC schools. It is quiet, safe, clean and modern. It has a kitchen and bath, and we even had a large patio! This would be the perfect NYC apt, and we couldn't believe we got so much space (king bed and sofa bed, work desk, kitchen, bath, patio) for such a...

Thank you to the staff of Gardens NYC, Upper East Side NY for taking good care of my daughter and I during our stay last Jan 23 to February 1, 2017, when I brought my her for her Masteral studies at CUNY Hunter College. I usually don't do reviews but I feel it is worth it to review this hotel. This hotel is located in a very nice and safe area of New York. I really liked how the room had a kitchen. The staff including Nigel and Kris were amazing and helped me not only load and unload my bags but arranged a...

My family of 4 stayed 3 nights it couldn't have been better. We have a one bedroom suite and brought our old lady. Not my mom our dog. When we arrived our food order was ready and the dogs bed was in place. The location avoids the hustle and bustle of tourist traps but only one block from the subway....

The room was spacious and clean. The king size bed was comfortable. Decorated nicely in modern style. Convenient location to shopping and dining. I thought the $25 extra fee was a little much, but they give you $10 of that back at their "store." Not much to choose from at their store. I got three candy bars! Overall, very nice...

If you're looking for an Upper East Side hotel that is clean, comfortable & affordable this is the place. This was my 2nd stay and I can't say enough about the staff. Joseph, Pedro. Kris and Nigel are just a few of the special people who were welcoming and went out of their way. I stay in the Jr King...

Have stayed at this hotel for a number of extended stays and finally decided i must submit a review. The rooms, despite being in need of renovating, are big compared to New York standards. The bed is amazing, giving you one the best nights sleeps you will have. Pedro and the rest of the team are always there to help...

The Gardens has a great upper east side location, and nice big (slightly dated) rooms with a full kitchen, but there is a little surprise that might await you -- a 'resort' fee on top of whatever rate you booked at. To be fair, after I looked at my Expedia booking I did see reference to the fee that will...

We were here for medical reasons the hotel staff ALL OF IT made us feel like at home. This was our home for a month. Pleasant stay, great service and very friendly and supportive human beings. This hotel is near main hospitals, supermarkets, drugstores etc. Fully furnished kitchen allows to even cook there and feel really like at home.

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
