Some travelers don't think this place is in their price range, but that's not necessarily true. BUT it is in walking distance of many, many of Manhattan's most popular attractions such as Times Square, Broadway, Lincoln Center, Central Park, Carnegie Hall is a block away. You will save money on taxis and subway fare. You will save valuable time. You...

Found hotel through TripAdvisor for a 6 day getaway to NYC. Very satisfied. Paid $195 per night (plus a $31 per night "Resort Fee" which was kind of announced at the end of our reservation process). Hotel, an older one built in 1927, was completely renovated about four years ago, is very sleek, modern, with good service. Great location (7th...

I visit NYC at least 2-3 times a year, whether it be with my husband or a girl's weekend. I've been staying at the Park Central Hotel since 2001. They run specials on off times. The location is perfect. I feel safe coming back late at night and going to my room. It's close to the park, great restaurants, and...

Location is excellent, right near Central Park, a block from the F train, close to Times Square without being too close, etc. I was upgraded to a suite, which was amazing and huge by Manhattan standards. Bathroom was EXCELLENT, it was seriously bigger than some entire rooms I've had in Manhatan. Great gym with a lot of free weights including...

We stayed at the hotel for 2 days before continuing to Norway. All in all the hotel was not bad, but I do have one big issue. We payed for a higher floor upgrade, but our room faced a wall, so no view at all. Make sure you let future guests know in advance.

We stayed at Park Central for our honey moon. We really appreciate that our room was upgraded for the special occasion and the hotel offered two bottles of Champagne when we arrived in the room. It was very clean and the location is perfect for a stay in New York!

This hotel was in good location, very clean and rooms very good maybe a little small but beds were very comfortable...did not use gym or restaurant in hotel. I would recommend this hotel it is near subway, and restaurants for any meal.

72 degrees. SEVENTY TWO DEGREES. Heat sensitive? Don't stay here. You have zero control over the thermostat. I didn't want to wake my family up by calling maintenance in the middle of the night. So I suffered. And now I'm miserable. Worst hotel stay ever. Also, there are no perks to this hotel. Not even a refrigerator.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
