This hotel has absolutely the best views of Times Square from indoors at the restaurant. Just amazing. Rooms were clean and roomy. Only reason it is not a five is for a hotel the lobby, restaurant and common area is much more limited than most 5 star hotels.

As a Marriott Exec Platinum I have my fair share of interesting travel experiences. I want to give a shout out to front desk gurus Glenda and Tammy who made my day just by being kind, happy, and accommodating as I checked in this morning. I won't go in to the details but they went above and beyond. You can...

We have stayed in this hotel before and came back as it is in the best location as it is bang in Times Square with a jaw dropping view from the restaurant. In saying this, when we stayed before it was much more relaxed in the bar area, and by that I mean that after a long day you feel...

Had a fantastic 3 night stay at the renaissance in the summer of 2013 and had a wonderful stay. This is not a cheap hotel but it was worth every penny for the views alone. Every morning at breakfast we would gaze out of the window across Times Square and smile, the views are just breath taking. It's a great...

We booked this Marriott using our points. We were so impressed w/this hotel. The room was larger than anticipated. Bathroom amenities were Aveda Products, which are pretty high end. Bed comfortable & room quiet. People were nice. Right in the area we needed to be to walk to dinner and the train station. Only thing we needed to do was...

Wow, this hotel used to be nice, I mean luxury at one time. I have no idea what happened. The rooms are dingy and in need of some serious updating. And the staff .. not impressed. I get it, NYC is not the warm fuzzy mecca of the planet, but honestly, I am so tired of hotel staff treating guests...

First of all thank you Renaissance for looking after us we had an amazing time. This hotel has the best location for New Years in New York. My wife and I stayed here for a week in June 2016. The location is excellent, hotel good, and the rate we got made it an outstanding value. The hop on bus is just a few steps from the hotel and Times Square. We were on the 9th floor facing Broadway and could not hear street noise. Our room was...

Stayed her for 5 nights in January for a work event. The room is a good size for NYC as was the bath and shower. The room had a spacious closet, fridge and safe along with a good desk setting with plenty of power outlets (a must for any business traveler). Housekeeping was great and most of the staff were...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
