We saw the ad for this in local paper...We walked in we were traveling with another couple...We wanted to see the room first. Four adults could hardly fit in elevator.
The "suite" was so small, old furniture, nasty shower and a roach motel in the...More
Family of five from UK in New York for five days. I had to book two three people rooms - I had no idea how difficult it was to find somewhere that allowed three people in a room. As most reviews, the location is really...More
I was there with my wife and three children in a two rooms suite. I've read a lot of reviews on this site and was a little bit worried, but was surprised with the quality of the room. It was not like in five stars...More

My stepson and I stayed here in June 08. We arrived at 1:30 am, the neighborhood felt safe. The room was the smallest I've ever stayed in, maybe about the size of our cabin on a cruise, cheaper grade of carpet, but saw no bugs...More
Nestled between Central Park and the Hudson River, the Upper West Side offers iconic architecture and a quiet, residential respite from the buzzing energy of downtown. Along Central Park West are many of the city’s most iconic apartment buildings, as well as the American Museum of Natural History, which has been welcoming visitors to its historic exhibit halls for over 140 years. Culture fans will love Lincoln Center,
home to some of the world’s best opera, dance, film, and theatre performances, all centrally located around a beautiful fountain. Spanning the entire length of the Upper West Side, Riverside Park is ideal for a long, leisurely stroll in a quiet green space.
We didn't have a car when we stayed in NY, but the area around the Riverside Hotel is, like the majority of the city, safe. Good luck driving in the city though, I would opt for the subway or walking any day!
