Stayed at hotel having booked last minute for 6 nights for three adults, knew from website minor disruption to lobby area before going however i would say it's quite major as there's only. Walkway past desk and to lifts. Room was a junior suite and was really big with two double beds a small sofa and chair as well as...

Arrived at this hotel on 30 December 2016. Had been booked since May for 12 of us for 3 nights. Scaffolding over most of the front, notices in window stating that work to reception/cafe was being carried out - since April! One lift, 12 storeys, room with 2 singles, dark and dingy, bathroom like something out of Psycho, stains on...

Ok, I am here for 3 night, Here is what i like is, it is located at the center of manhattan, you can do a lot of shopping, and find your hotel easily, not paying for taxi, just 3 minutes walking from macy's. What i dont like is, internet connection is too slow, and on ground floor workers working and...

Room was okay with bathtub ( basic). Woollen blanket available - useful as it was cold. It's noisy. I arrived early ( before what is a very late checkin time of 3pm) but not much interest was shown to get me in a room before this time. Even when room was ready I had to ask ( no effort to...

Me and my sister stayed here for 10 nights at the beginning of December. Slightly disheartened to arrive and find scaffolding outside and inside the lobby but we arrived very late and were tired which probably didn't help. We were aware of USA room tax which we were charged but weren't aware that we would be charged $20 per day...

Hi, I'm never one to cry reverse racism , but this Korea Town Hotel gives me no choice. Was treated rudely by the front desk from the get go. After having two drinks in the lounge while waiting for our room, we were chased to the elevator being accused of stealing a $ 2.00 beer glass. The reason it want...

Was disappointed with the hotel we went as a family of six, the staff were not very friendly and rooms were small, check the beds as there were hairs in another couples bed, I did complain but not much was done. Work was being done inside and out of the hotel we would of liked to have been notified before...

Booked here after our cruise as a little extra with our friends. Was a bit wary as the reviews in the weeks leading up to our trip weren't that good. Most saying a lot of disruption due to the renovations. Yes they were in the middle of renovating the lobby area but everything ran like clockwork. We arrived to a...

Perhaps the best location in Manhattan. Centrally located yet away from Broadway and Times Square mess. Rooms are comfortable and roomy. That's it But the location tops the outdated decor. Very close to the biggest Macy's and next door to the Empire State Building. Recommend it

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
