Small rooms but the hotel is upscale all around. We also enjoyed breakfast and the Starbucks coffee in the lobby. Historic and quaint place. The staff is well trained and friendly. Will check pricing and love to stay here again on next visit to NYC.
Stayed here 4 nights and found it to be satisfactory. Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean. The restaurant and bar are "New York" pricey but the lounge has a great atmosphere. The location is great for visiting Times Square, Top of the Rock and other...More
Charming hotel steps from Times Square. The rooms are tiny but so are the majority of hotel rooms in NYC. The hotel has a historical, cozy, and luxurious feel to it; they have kept it up-to-date but without losing its character...I loved how I "felt"...More

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the

Not entirely certain but The Algonquin is not Marriott owned, just part of the Autograph Collection. The location is excellent and the service from all of the hotel personnel was outstanding. But do bear in mind the this is an historic property, not all bright, shiny and new.
