I chose the Belvedere Hotel because of it's location and rating. I'm so happy I chose this hotel. We stayed in room 1427. The room was clean and we had fresh linen daily. We didn't choose the breakfast package. The Pizzaria next door had an excellent breakfast menu at an affordable price. We were blocks from Times Square and Rockefeller...

The hotel was in an excellent location so close to Times Sqaure and the Subway. The room was large but slightly old fashioned with a small bathroom. The place was clean, beds comfy and excellent staff. The only negatives I can think of is that it was quite noisy from street traffic and there was no free WIFI.

We stayed in a front facing room on 5th floor for 5 nights. Like others have said, our room was a bit dated but a good size with two double beds, it was clean and well laid out. The staff were very friendly upon check in and throughout our stay. The best thing about this hotel is its location- 5...

This is our 4th time staying at the Belvedere over the last few years. Great location, friendly staff, clean hotel and great service. It is within walking distance of Times Square, the theatre district and of course great restaurants. A+

My friend and I spent 3 nights here. We chose it because it wasn't far from the theatre district. It cost us $349. a night plus taxes which wasn't cheap but probably somewhat reasonable for Manhattan. The staff were efficient and personable, especially the conceirge. The one thing we missed was a real lobby where one could sit and converse,...

This is a small, very friendly hotel. It isn't fancy but the rooms are actually bigger than some in New York. Close to subway and off Broadway. Short walk to Radio City and easy walk to Rockefeller Center.

A really good hotel. First impressions was a warm friendly place. Was not wrong. The staff are very helpful and pleasant, and make you welcome. The hotel itself is clean and bright. I can't comment on the food as we didn't eat there. It was only a 5 minute walk to Times square so very handy to every where. All in...

Hotel average. Clean, staff are helpful and in great location to Times Square. Rooms do need some modernisation (bathrooms are dated). Woken up every time neighbouring room flushed their toilet with a ongoing noise. Extremely frustrating to discover that when we got home to UK, my debit card had been charged £187 by the hotel at check in to cover...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
