My friend and I stayed over on a Thursday night to attend the concert. I really wanted to stay here before the hotel closes for renovation. I'm glad I did! The lobby is absolutely gorgeous. The ambiance of the whole reception room was delightful, which includes a pianist by the restaurant and glass cases full of historical memorabilia throughout the...

This was a dream to stay at this hotel. It is the most luxurious hotel that I have ever stayed at, and it's a shame it closing down so soon, as I would love to stay again. The main lobby area is lovely and a fine centre piece. All staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a deluxe...

Years of wonderful accomidations and good service. Jackie and Mary at the Diamond Desk have always been so helpful. Home away from home. The private functions have always exceeded expectations. Thanks for the memories.

An Iconic hotel, will close its doors at the end of March 2017 as it was sold to make several hundreds apartments and verbal hundred hotel rooms. Beautiful architecture, very tired indeed, the service was good, breakfast delicious, but everywhere you look needed attention, hence I presume is the massive refurbishment which is coming shortly.

The Waldorf Astoria is a beautiful and excellent hotel. My boss is a diamond member and stays at the Waldorf regularly. I always work with Jackie Grant at the diamond desk on his reservations. Her customer service is unmatched and she always makes sure everything is prepared for my boss's visit. Over the last 5 years Jackie has been nothing...

The Waldorf is classic charm and Jackie at the Diamond desk is THE BEST!! My whole experience was over the top amazing. It is old-school charm from the moment you pull up out front until you leave. I can't wait to go again.

We had the chance to sleep in this historical hotel before their closing date for its renovation which will lasts at least 2 years. All the staff was very gentle especially at front desk with Mrs. Rebecca who has been at our complete disposal. We had a signature suite at 15th floor for a very good price. Thank you so...

The history and beauty of the Waldorf Astoria NYC go without saying. It is centrally located with Grand Central Station just a few blocks away. Every amenity was provided and the rooms serviced any time it was needed. But what truly stands out is the customer service. At the front desk, Rebecca took care of our every need from check...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
