Excellent experience. Thanks for the great upgrade. It made our trip! Loved the 26th floor food and the complimentary cocktails x 2. Would have loved a coffee maker in the room. The access to shopping and cabs is great. Will definitely come again.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

We have been to the Waldorf Astoria in NYC many, many times. Since we live only 1.5 hrs away we were coming every few months for weekend stays. Unfortunately this was our last. Not because we did not enjoy it.. Quite the opposite, with this time being our favorite stay yet. But since the hotel is shutting down in a...

Hate to see this iconic hotel closing. It was a lovely stay. We were upgraded on the Towers and could not have asked for a better view. It pays to be a Hilton member. Sonny, in Sir Harry's Bar, is personality plus.

We have been staying at the Waldorf Astoria Towers for years....the beautiful, luxurious historical gem of a hotel is unmatched in NYC. The service of staff - particularly Concierge, we will miss you Celso! - is outstanding and the rooms/suites are spacious and lovely. The complimentary breakfast in The Lounge is delightful, as are the treats that are served throughout...

We traveled to the Waldorf Astoria in honor of my grandmother who was the Park Avenue receptionist during the mid to late 1940's. She passed away in August, but always told her interesting and amazing stories of the Waldorf, including all of her interactions with the celebrities of the day, such as Clark Gable and Marilyn Monroe. We were happy...

We just had to fly all the way from Phoenix to NYC to stay one last time at the Waldorf Astoria Towers before they close. As always, the staff and service was impeccable. Buddy at the front desk was amazing, as were Ceslo and Vinmore the concierges. Hopefully we will see them all again! Thank you gentlemen for making our...

I was fortunate enough to enjoy a three day stay at the beautiful Waldorf Astoria. I was delighted by how helpful and friendly the staff were throughout my stay. A number of the staff went above and beyond what I usually expect at a hotel, including Rebecca Villasenor who took the time to describe some of the more interesting historic...

Rebecca V. was amazing, she upgraded us because we just got engaged. Her customer service was impeccable. We were sad to hear that the hotel was closing in 10 days, but curious to see the remodel when it is complete in 2 years.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
