The rooms were cleaned every day (slightly early mind you but it did not bother us as we were on the go anyhow). All the staff were helpful when asked, polite and...

Phillipe the bellboy from Barbados was super friendly and willing to help with anything! Probably the best part of the stay. The cons - We initially checked into the hotel...

The lobby is very welcoming, and looks historic indeed. I could say it is almost glamorous! Though the rooms are quite average, since materials look worn out . The service is quite mechanical in the front desk while smile is in extinction.the location is very good for Manhattan island, right in the middle of everything. Did nit deserve 300$ a...

I have always had a great experience at the Roosevelt and love to stay when in town for a quick visit. Being directly across from Grand Central Station makes it convenient for catching trains and ensures there is always something going on. In the summer, Mad46, the rooftop bar, is a great place to watch the sunset and the city...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
