This 1888 Victorian home was so much fun to stay in. We arrived after a 5 hr drive in storms and how nice to pull up in front of such majestic home. The architecture is amazing. Deborah welcomed us in and did a wonderful job telling us about the home. I had reserved a Queen bed room but after the...

What a beautiful and charming place. It's like spending the night back in 1890. I'm not much for lacy things, but it makes my wife happy. Watching her smile as she looks at the antique furnishings and being serve by Debra made us feel like we are back in history. The grounds, room, and living areas are unbelievably kept. Very...

Unexpected for me in several ways-- I arrived late from my flight, but had clear instructions as to how to get into the hotel and get to my room (night innkeeper. (Surprise #1) The hotel is extraordinarily beautiful, fully restored, with superb and imaginative interior decor by the owners. (Surprise #2) My room had been upgraded at no additional charge!...

If you haven't seen a fabulous example of Victorian architecture lately, than this is the place for you. The restoration of the 100+ year old structure was done impeccably and the details are amazing. The colors and décor are perfectly suited for the home. The breakfast was delicious and presented in an gracious old world way down to the lovely...

It is undoutedly a beautiful old mansion (the Hornbook House), but the tour was a bit sparse (there is a lot of history here). The tea was not anywhere close to the quality of the Capital Hotel. Some things just tasted bad. The tea went from hot to cool very quickly (poor selection of teas). Want a good high tea?...

30 MINUTES LATE HAS AN IMPACT We are deeply disappointed this invited guest of the Wounded Warrior Project was unhappy with her experience, especially after sending us a Facebook message indicating how much she enjoyed it, although she'd wished we had offered a variety of teas and her personal preference wasn't for our period "Johnny Reb" cakes. We spend a...

This was a nice quite getaway weekend for my wife and I. This was a huge beautiful mansion built in the 1800's . We loved the place. This was my first bed and breakfast experience and I must say my wife and I were both satisfied.. The house keeper was very nice and had a ton of information about the...
