I would recommend this b&b to any person who enjoys b&b's. Our innkeeper, Bill, was an absolute delight to spend time with. He also paid attention and took care with every detail around the inn. The overall atmosphere was wonderful. We have found our new tradition for our yearly stay in Yorktown!

Bill Cole was the best host. He knew the area well and made good recommendations. Breakfast was evan better than I had hoped - a nice variety of delicous and original recipes. The Inn was clean, comfortable, and homey as well as historically decorated. We loved the view from the room. Next time, I hope to stay longer.

This may be the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Bill is a great host - deeply knowledgeable about the area and its history, very concerned with individual needs and probably the best breakfast chef we have encountered in our many B&B stays. He provides wonderful amenities - from a refrigerator stocked with beer, wine and soda through robes...

I would recommend this charming b & b to anyone looking for a relaxing place by the river. Our host was most gracious and his breakfast was superb! If you like history this is where you want to stay while visiting colonial Williamsburg, which is only a short drive away.

My husband and I stayed recently at the York River Inn and were made very welcome. We had a superb bedroom with a verandah overlooking the York River. The impressive swing bridge was very near but this did not disturb us, in fact it was fascinating to watch and to see illuminated at night. Our host was an amazing and...

We stayed at the York River Inn over Labor Day weekend. This was our 6th B&B and it's our favorite. Bill is a great host! We enjoyed sitting around the table and listening to some of his stories. He is extremely knowledgeable about local history and things to do in Yorktown. His home is stuffed with interesting memorabilia. It's within...

This was our third b&b in a trip winding us to the Outer Banks. Bill has a delightful home, is a great cook, and his local knowledge is unbeatable - and correct. The End View House plantation was very good and would not have been found without his help. Thanks!

Our experience at the York River Inn was quite memorable. Our room had a lovely view of the river and bridge, and was so quiet. The Inn is located within walking distance of Riverwalk Landing and the historic town of Yorktown. Mr. William "Bill" Cole, the innkeeper of the Yorkt River Inn, made us feel very welcome. A key highlight...

Yorktown is a great weekend vacation spot, I've lived near by for two years and had no idea. Great destination, and this B&B is the only way to stay at Yorktown!!!
