Mammoth Lakes, California

We had never been to Mammoth and Kaybee was at the front desk. It's been awhile since I've felt so welcomed on vacation. We had a lot of questions and she went out of her way to help us out with all of our needs. Highly recommend staying at the Holiday Haus.

We walked into our room to an overwhelming smell of cleaning fluid and under notes of mildew. Glad we had our own pillows, there's were so tiny they gave me a neck ache. Otherwise OK, staff very helpful. Only 1 night stay.

After a horrible night at the Motel 6 we transferred to Holiday House, and that had saved our Mammoth Lakes experience. The room was spacious and clean, staff was friendly, pretty good continental breakfast (the dining area is a bit small) and a convenient location close to a shuttle stop. Would definitely stay there again.

Heating worked well as we could not have picked a colder time to stay, room adequate, you have to turn off fridge overnight or very noisy. I found bed dipped in middle Breakfast is dismal you need to eat out, toaster took ages, coffee dire, very very basic.

We stayed here about two weeks ago with some of our best friends from Australia. We had two rooms that were both lovely. The young man at check in was absolutely fabulous! Unfortunately I cannot remember his name, but we really appreciated his friendliness and helpfulness. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well maintained. We don't like cookie cutter type...

Our stay was just one night; arrived about 5:00 pm and checked out 9:00 am the next day on our way through California. We had multiple lights in the room that didn't work but didn't pay it much mind, the hotel is older as are the furnishings, so chalked it up to them being old. We were there to sleep...

If you're looking for a restful stay in this cute little town, look no further. The rooms were large, clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. It was quiet while being near the heart of town.

We had an incredible time at Mammoth Lake. Not too far from the main points that we visited (Yosemite and Bodie) and also the village which is very close to the Motel/Hostel if you go driving is about 5 min. max and if you go walking 10 min. max. The staff was very polite and helpful. Tho the room I...

Be very aware when booking this motel (like reviewer Phicks UK - April 2016; titled Beware). The manager has no empathy for visitors from other countries who don't know the region. We booked 3 rooms at this motel in good faith and found on checking the official California Department of Transport website that the road was closed. When we spoke...

Dear Motorcyclist, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate and value our guests’ comments and concerns. We apologize for any inconvenience. Your booking was made through a third party booker. We did not charge 100% of your booking it was 50% of the booking. Again we do empathize with your position, however it is difficult...

Be very careful when booking this Motel. If you have made a mistake when planning your holiday they will take a fee for the booking regardless of genuine errors. We are spending 6 weeks from the UK on a road trip and I did not realise that I could not easily get from this site into the Yosemite, Kings Canyon...
