My husband and I stayed 3 nights on our honeymoon road trip. I had mixed feelings about the room; the bed was too soft for my preference so I slept quite badly, and because we were on the bottom floor we had to suffer the elephant-like stomping of the toddler in the room above us (not the fault of the... Stayed here for one night on our road trip. Check in was quick and owners are friendly and helpful. Our room had a balcony coffee facilities and a microwave and was very comfortable. The lodge is located just off the main road and only short walking distance (5 mins) from shops and restaurants, a short drive to Twin Lakes.

My friends and I (6 people) stayed just one night, between the previous visit at Yosemite and the Death Valley the day after. We took a jacuzzi massage that was just what we need after long walking on the trails. The guy (I think was the owner, non sure at all) who welcomed us was very friendly and available for... More

This was a great place to stop off on our way to Yosemite NP. It really felt like we were staying in a lodge in Austria (or similar). We stayed just one night, it was easy to find and there were plenty of parking places out the front. Our room had the most adorable dog duvet covers and was well... More

I booked this place because previous reviews were positive. I wanted a local mountain feel rather then a chain hotel. When you enter, the lobby is small and the doors to all the rooms are right there. The owners were very friendly and easily engaged in conversation. After we got our luggage in the room, I heard through the doors,... More

We stayed in the lodge for 1 night and been at room 4 which was big and comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped. The hosts are really nice and helpful and there is a big parking lot outside. If we had more time we definitely stayed for more nights.

Very quaint, with wonderful views off the balcony, very clean, warm blankets and fluffy towels. The owners are very friendly, and I'm saving the best for last, Enzo, their dog, extremely friendly, came to our room to say goodbye. So adorable

This is not your normal hotel, more like an Austrian Guest House which is the idea I think. It’s bit quirky, in an acceptable kind of way. My Family and I stayed in a room with two double beds and small kitchen/dining area, mid-August 2016. The room was plenty big enough for the four of us, and also included a... More

This is an older Ski Lodge, but the management has done a nice job of keeping it up. If you need the latest and newest stay in one of the expensive condos near the Village, and pay a lot, but if you are happy in a homey clean ski type lodge, stay here. The location is great. Our room was... More
