I stayed here with my family because of a good deal on Priceline and for the convenience. It's in the middle of everything so most places are walking distance. Reading Market is one block. Starbucks is inside the hotel. Federal Donut is half a mile. Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, etc all about a half mile. The hotel itself is huge...

Based on other reviews, I didn't have high hopes for this hotel, but the price was right. We stayed on a Saturday night for a wedding. The room was ready early, which was a plus. The room was clean and seemed to have been re-modeled recently. The hotel itself was quite busy but the staff had things running smoothly. If...

I would have given this hotel 5 marks but for a few bad things. Number one, the rubbish bins were not emptied, so by the end of two days we were overflowing. Number two, there is only valet parking, and no deals with local parking garages. Parking for two days cost nearly $80. Number three, whilst the duvet cover and...

We were here to celebrate a wedding anniversary. As a platinum I had hoped for an upgrade which we did receive. That is all I anticipated but room service left a gift for us. Very thoughtful! The hotel does need a refresh as the rooms look a little worn. The staff is courteous and helpful which really makes for a...

I am a frequent traveler and stayed at this hotel recently for a conference. The front desk staff were very nice and, as I had asked for a King bed, asked me if I would accept a "Hospitality Suite", which was the only King bed available, apparently. I went along and accepted it. The room was acceptable. The nightmare began...

This was my first stay at the Marriott hotel and I wish I had stayed at another hotel in the area. The only wonderful quality about this hotel is the staff, especially the front desk staff. They were friendly and enthusiastic and managed to keep the check in line moving. However, it was all downhill from there. Staying for a...

If you have been persuaded by location to choose this hotel, be prepared to enter your room and find no bottled water, no slippers, no minibar, no shoe shine kit, no stationery, no bathrobe; bed pillows of specially low quality, filled with pieces of plastic foam. Should a convention also be going on, expect a 45 minute wait for a...

So here's my story: We stayed at this hotel April 5th to April 7th with another family. We were on our way to the pool when my 10 year old daughter left something in the room. I gave her the room key to go back up to the room because you can't press a floor in the elevator without a...

Thank you for taking the time to comment about your stay and the hotel’s great location. I decided to splurge since I am in philly 1 week every month and stay in the city. The Hotel is average and above. The elevators are a bit isolated, but the bar area, and lobby is fine. I like the location since I can walk to some restaurants. The room was clean, and I did use the lounge on...
