We stayed at Penn's View on a quick overnight trip to the city. The location is great, the hotel is charming and clean, and the customer service excellent. We stayed in a deluxe queen with river views, a fireplace, and jacuzzi tub (Rm 500). The rooms are quite small, but have a wonderful historic charm and warm ambiance. Room 500...

I stayed for a week and it a wonderful room and location. There are three things that would make me think twice: 1. Even for a continental breakfast the offering was very skimpy. 2. The internet was free, but the bandwidth in the evenings is terrible. 3. The public printer for airline tickets and business needs never seemed to be...

This was our first visit to the Penns View. We were very pleased with the environment and atmosphere of this hotel - Cleanliness, charm and convenience. We did not expect the immediate and professional attention to our needs when checking in, when asking for information, at breakfast, or when our grandson needed batteries for a toy, that we received! Instead...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a romantic weekend getaway. We actually ended up extending our stay by another night as we were enjoying the hotel and our visit so much. Antonio and his staff are professional, courteous and accommodating. Breakfast is good. The panorama restaurant is also excellent. We are definitely planning a return visit. I would highly...

Our room on the 5th floor was smallish but very pretty and cozy. We had a view of Market Street with its shops and restaurants; of course that came with a bit of street noise, easily countered by turning on the fan. The bathroom was small but very well laid out. And the bed was so comfortable! My only complaint...

Penn's View is in the perfect spot to tour historical Philly and enjoy the ethic neighborhoods of the city. The Staff, rooms, location, and the restaurant (which serves 150 wines by the glass) are outstanding

Planned a getaway with my husband to Philadelphia to help destress from the upcoming holidays. We stayed at the Penn's View Hotel. Our room was top floor with fireplace overlooking the water. The service was great and the room booking came with continental breakfast. The main issue was the phone did not work and there was no hot water. It...

We love it here. An historic Inn located in the heart of old town Penns landing. A very special place made even better by Antonio, the manager. I had reserved a day too soon and showed up a day to late. Antonio made sure my husband 79th birthday was not spoiled. The attached Panorama restaurant completes the perfect stay. Happy...

My husband and I have been going to the Penn's View for the past seven years and this is our favorite place to stay in Philadelphia. The prices are excellent, we have gotten rooms for about $160 that include a jacuzzi and king bed. The service is very good, the manager is always very concerned and on top of things....

We had tickets to a comedy show nearby so I had to find a room quickly. I did a search and found this place. This place is just adorable and cozy and so much nicer than a chain. It's at an amazing price point for the area and the hotel itself. I love the old key (not modern digital to...
