This is an uber-clean, super cozy and quiet hostel. It's location is perfect for undertaking an old timy Philly tour or getting on the metro to go somewhere else. The female only dorm was large but super quiet. Brilliant extras - everyone gets their own little reading lamp to read or pack if needed before lights go on in the...

This is a fantastic hostel. Clean, great location, wonderful staff. It was nice to have a quilt and not just a sheet, it was nice to have a personal reading lamp as well as a hair dryer in the bathroom. Extremely safe neighbourhood and central to lots of sites and transportation. Having stayed in hostels all over the world this...

I'm very happy that you enjoyed your stay! Let’s be clear though that we absolutely do have a rule that we only allow one person per bed. I was the one whom your friend spoke to and I explained to her that the older Colombian couple didn’t speak English and we were having trouble explaining to them how the dormitory...

This was my first experience of staying in a hostel and I was a little apprehensive, to be honest. I needn't have been though, because Apple is a great little place and very well run. It is located in a downtown alleyway, so convenient for the major Philly attractions as well as the Greyhound station. The staff were friendly and...

I have stayed here for two nights on two different occasions. Actually this is my stay whenever I have to catch an early morning flight from Philadelphia. So I have stayed here only for nights and have not done much of the activities and not even had the breakfast that they offer. Now the main reason I choose this hostel...

Loved this place. So clean. So comfortable. So friendly. Staff were super friendly and happy to talk to me about things to see and places to eat. General vibe of the place is just cosy and nice. Clean kitchen and laundry downstairs, comfortable lounge area on the street level. Free wifi, tea and coffee. I stayed in the girls dormitory,...

A gem! Wonderful staff, clean, cheerful, quiet (though I might have been lucky that the club opposite had quiet customers these 2 nights and that my room mates were equally well behaved), but best hostel experience ever and by a very long way!

I spent 3 nights in the hostel. The hostel itself is very clean and well run. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hostel is within walking distance of all the historical attractions in Old City. If attractions further out from Old city are on your list just walk around the corner to Market St. to...
