We did not stay at the hotel, but were lucky enough to host an even at this beautiful ,historic location. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. We had the large salon, complete with fireplace, leather couches, and majestic windows, to house our 125 seat dinner. I did some exploring before dinner, and found other expansive, beautifully decorated rooms that would be... More

We stayed here for a long weekend to attend a wedding that was also at The Union League. The rooms were updated, clean, and quite. The location of the hotel is very central and also allows you to have access to the club's gym, breakfasts, and restaurants. We are planning on staying here for our next trip to Philadelphia!

We stayed here for two nights as guests of a club member so that may have colored our experience. The club owns the parking garage on Sansom Street (with a no tipping policy) and the parking charge (I believe $32 a day) gets added to your bill. The check-in desk is very subdued and it took only a minute or... More

We were fortunate to get to stay at the Inn on a recent trip. The hotel has so much charm! Make sure to read about it in advance to get the most out of the experience. The room is not fancy but very nice and we had a large bathroom with nice toiletries. A very nice buffet breakfast is included.... More

It is certainly a historic building, but after staying there I still have no idea why would I choose to stay there again rather than in a more updated hotel. One thing is to be historic and another one to not be modernized. The public spaces of the building are beautiful. As for the hotel portion, the lobby and hallways... More

This place seems to have a lot of history that people like, I guess (though I think that has more to do with the Union League itself rather than the hotel). To me, it was an old hotel in need of a face lift. My room faced a brick wall (read: curtains closed all day, so no sunlight). I only... More

Always helpful for anything that is needed, yet not intrusive. Rooms are exceptional, older as built in 1909, but very well maintained. Check-in is super fast. The breakfast on business days is huge and amazing, weekends and holidays it is smaller yet still exceptional quality. The gym is high-quality and luxurious with great service.

We were here for a wedding. All employees are very friendly. The hotel is beautiful but not worth the high cost. The rooms are small, which is to be expected in an old building, but wasn't cleaned well. The vent in the bathroom had a THICK layer of dust and clearly hasn't been cleaned in awhile. Same for floor in... More

One of the finest hotel experiences of my life. When I arrived at their parking garage and saw the NO GRATUITY sign, I sensed the start of a very different hotel experience. Check in went smoothly. The room on the fifth floor was exceptional. The bath contained one of the nicest stall showers I have ever seen in a hotel.... More

As the title suggests it is interesting. The facilities are excellent. The rooms are superb as was the fitness and business centre. The staff on levels 1&2 (the cafes, restaurants and business centre) are extremely helpful and courteous. The check in desk doesn't do the club justice but maybe that's how it's supposed to be? The concierge staff are great.... More
