My friend and I stayed at the Thomas Bond House for four nights while attending a convention in Philadelphia. The Bed and Breakfast is located in the historic Society Hill section of town,a beautiful and safe area. It is part of the National Historic Park. It was a pleasant 20 to 30 minute walk to the convention center. We utilized convention...

Situated on National Park grounds, we walked to all Philly historic sites & were surrounded with restaurants of multiple ethnicities. The staff, esp. Christy, is exuberant, knowledgeable & anxious to please. Room and bed were comfortable, if small, but a large ground floor common area & dining room more than compensated. Breakfast is a "help yourself" substantial cold buffet. Owned...

The host was very friendly and helpful - knowledge of the history for the area and the house was excellent. Perfect location for walking the Old City. Room was spotless and comfortable. Though the room is small in size, my 6'4" husband fared well. Breakfast was delicious! Highly recommend this historic house!

Overall I really enjoyed this place. Not a lot of room in the room especially in the toilet area. Had to do a modified box step to go in and out, and there a few stairs to deal with so if you're not in great shape ask for a room on the 2nd floor. but everything else about the stay...

A group of us got rooms here for a wedding. The employees were exceptional, very friendly and helpful. We were able to check our bags early and explore some of the city until 3pm. Independence Hall, the Constitution Center and many other historical locations are within an easy walk. Rooms were clean, showers were great and the breakfast was awesome,...

The Thomas Bond House is charming, comfortable, and welcoming. The location can't be beat-- right in the middle of Old City Philadelphia. You are surrounded by history at every turn-- it's just a wonderful, inviting place!

This B&B in the Society Hill neighborhood of Philadelphia is delightful. Thomas Bond, a physician in the mid-18th Century, built the house for his son in 1769. Thomas, along with Ben Franklin, partnered to found the Pennsylvania Hospital, the first hospital in the United States. It’s still there, walking distance from the home. There are 12 rooms in the house...

A beautiful restored home in old town Philadelphia steps from the historical attractions, parks and the river landing. The B&B is three stories high and doesn't have an elevator. The third floor is quite a climb. Excellent staff, food, and service. I plan on staying there on my next trip to Philly. Note: I used Uber for all my transportation...

Although it is called a B & B, it is more like a lovely Inn in the heart of the historical district. It has many very good dining options within close proximity. A fabulous location & lovely building and I would gladly stay here again anytime. Our room was very small (like a small bedroom) but it was functional &...

This Inn is very well located in Old City. Monuments are within walking distance, Every thing is good at Thomas Bond House : the rooms, the breakfast, the wine, the ambiance. And the staff is extraordinary. Chrissy, Craig, Jennifer and Britta were very kind and helpful. I very seldom give a five stars but this Inn and the people running...

Dear Jean and Louise, You two are some of the sweetest and kindest guests we've ever had. We all remember you as some of our favorites. You were such a delight at breakfast each morning and at wine each evening. You made friends with all of the other guests in the room and they loved that too. Thank you so...
