This hotel is basic, no frills whatsoever and a bit old and dated BUT clean and the wifi was strong. Located a few yards away from the entrance to the FDR home and presidential library right on Rte 9. You can walk to the brew pub next door.

This is a nice, clean, basic motel. There is plenty of hot water for showers. If you appreciate basic travel comfort, at a reasonable prince, stay here. It isn't fancy by today's standards, but the coffee, juice and muffins where enough to start our day. We have stayed here 3 times on our travels to the Hyde Park area. There...

Golden Manor is a decent no frills motel and the only one in town with a pool. That is why we stay there with two kids. However, I have just learned they decided not to open the pool this summer. Bad idea! The pool is the reason we stay here rather than the much nicer Quality Inn just a quarter...

It was 19 degrees and very windy. We had no heat, the wall air conditioner was not even covered, and we slept in our clothes, coats, gloves, scarves, and hats. The room was moldy and musty smelling. The carpet was torn, towels were stained and smelled, everything was old and dirty looking. Pictures must have been taken 30 years ago...

The place is old. But it is really clean, like all the reviews say. The rooms in the front are wayyyy better than the rooms in the back though, so ask for one. The pool is well kept. The location could not be better--super convenient and close to restaurants, shops and walking distance to an old drive in movie theater....

When first looking up hotels in the area, I thought I had found a nice, quaint hotel. Upon calling the hotel for pricing, I was met with a rude woman on the phone who was very impatient. After telling me the price, she told me to call when I was ready and promptly hung up the phone. I had to...

We loved everything about the motel! The owners were the absolute sweetest people, that were very down to earth. Our room was so cool! We loved it! It was very clean and above what we expected. Normally we stay in high end hotels, but just didn't have the funds available on this trip. We were nervous about some of the...

While making reservation, phone was hung up by person taking the call when I asked for a confirmation #, again when I called back to as if they gave a AAA discount, and again when I called back and canceled the reservation. Wonder what happens if you actually stay there and ask a question in person.

I came here because the room was the cheapest around. The room is very old school, but clean and nice. The wifi connection to my room was weak, but I was right next to the office, so I connected to the lobby wifi, which was strong. My windows did not lock very well, but I did manage to lock them....

“Advise the owners as for the reason of your stay......we let them know that we were there to visit The CIA prior to my son's admission, so they placed us in a quiet room. There had been several folks there for The Dutchess County Fair that they knew would be coming in late. They placed us away from these folks so that we could get some rest.”
