Our total trip when we went to Alaska was well over 12K miles and we enjoyed Go North the best of all the Hostels that we stayed in. We stayed in the Tee Pee but enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and the interaction of the other riders while there.

May 2003 I was there. l used as my base for Fairbanks. its a great place to stay warm dry and cozy yeah you have to pay for a shower okay no big deal have done that before they do have there overheads as well. They do have in the tents fireplaces as well which are great for nights as...

Sad good to read the other people's reviews when we had such an amazing experience. We see GoNorth as a small oasis in a city that's not very attractive. It's pretty with wooden houses, lots of trees, green grass, a lovely fireplace etc. There's also a seperate little log house where you can watch TV and movies. The campsite might...

It's an okay place to stay. However, I wish I knew that they charge $0.25 for shower water per min. While I was cooking, a staff member (I think) was pretty mad at someone who left their food on the stove. I felt really bad to be in the middle of this. There are only 4 power outlet in the...
