This location has a true character that immediately embraces every guest. John, the owner and host, craftily creates your breakfast with true enthusiasm. And the friendly feline in the main house, will greet you with a subject "meow". A seasoned Alaska home that offers each visitor their own adventure.

John is a great host and very generous with his time and advice. The B&B consists of two houses side by side. Both have been thoroughly renovated and are very clean and everything works. The beds were comfortable. Guests have the use of kitchen facilities and refrigerator space. Breakfast includes pretty much anything you might want. John's omelettes were popular...

John, the 'Innkeeper" cooked the best breakfasts every morning, and it was HEALTHY. He did provide the usual pastries/cereals/toast as well but his omelettes were delicious. We stayed in 'the green house' and had the use of a whole kitchen with 2 enormous fridges as well everything else. Fantastic place to stay!

I wanted to spend a few nights in Fairbanks; close to the centre of town, and not spend too much money. Ah Rose Marie Bed and Breakfast came up in a quick google search, and it turned out to be a good choice. It's operated by John, a man in his eighties who has an amazing knowledge of Fairbanks and...

Stayed on a recent trip to Alaska. John is a great host, and wealth of local knowledge. Took his advice on a couple of places and was pleasantly surprised. Great breakfast and comfortable room. Walking distance to several points of interest. Quiet quaint neighborhood as well.

I booked a room here for 2 nights for my Mother in Law while she was visiting me and my husband. She loved it, and so did I! Great location, quiet, plenty of room, and great breakfast!! Every thing you needed was provided. Highly recommend. We will certainly use this place again the next time we have visitors :)

Quaint, clean B & B with all the usual amenities provided,a good breakfast and with options for dietary needs. Great location, 7 minutes walk to downtown. John the proprietor very friendly and quick to offer tourist information. We had a very late night flight out and were able to leave luggage and use the facilities until our departure. Highly recommend

Not everyone will enjoy this B&B, but I sure did. It's budget priced and near restaurants and the Orange bus line. Your savings start if you take public transport from the airport as a cab ride is at least $15. John has a variety of rooms, some with private bath, some without in two separate houses. Be sure to ask...

We stayed at the B&B for two nights and found it very comfortable, with easy access. The breakfast was very good and catered for all diet issues. The host had lived in the area for many years and so was a mine of information on attractions, history and amenities in Fairbanks.
