This place really fit our needs. In a quiet, middle range place in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Our main needs were comfort, wifi, breakfast, proximity. We got all of that.

Staff were really nice and they felt homey. Especially Erica at the front. The night time staff were a bit young and not as experienced but they were still very nice.

Breakfast was a full breakfast with all the fixings and more, different special dishes everyday along with cereal, oatmeal, eggs, sausages, potatoes, juice, toast, bagels, etc.

Wifi was great (we are intl guests) although I would suggest to them considering how many intl guests are there, that they have an option for making local calls at least. The room phones didn't have that option, but the staff offered me to use their phone in the lobby.

The room was smallish, but it's a refurbished building and it's truly done well. Clean, smells good, paint and trimmings are good. Beds very comfy, housekeeping is good. The walls are thin though mind you we only noticed a couple times with a baby or someone talking as they leave their room.

Subway is a 10-15 minute walk, no hills. There's food and places to see nearby. Quiet area, safe.

Check in and check out was good, they responded to my messages thru booking.com.

The elevator was very slow but we were on 2nd floor and it only got busy during breakfast time so where we took the stairs.

Bathroom was very clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay, thank you.

The receptionist Erika was very nice and helped me check in fast as well as answered all of my questions. She was great. The rooms were comfy. I loved how fluffy the pillows were and the housekeeping was very helpful. The breakfast was yummy too! I had an amazing stay.

Excellent hotel! Wish I’d stayed longer than 1 night! Staff are so friendly and helpful (especially Veronica and Ericka on the front desk). Lovely safe area with plenty of lovely places to eat, the staff asked what I wanted to eat and gave plenty of recommendations. There was an amazing large comfortable bed and I slept really well, and felt very safe as a female travelling on my own. Check in was really easy and done online the day before, and there was a lovely breakfast, freshly cooked with plenty of choice, coffee machine with pods in the room and bottled water, 15 minute walk to Brooklyn cruise port, I would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I were very happy on our first visit to NYC. During our stay we were comfortable, room was good (despite the noise of toilet permanently running). However after we checked out they charged us $60 for no reason. When calling them on several occasions, their service was unfortunately bad, since Front Desk only informed that the charge was the deposit and that it would be released at any time.
After 12 days, today I received an answer that the charge had been for "taking all the towels from the room", which is not true and took us by surprise. The towels were very stiff and we didn't like them, there was no reason to take them with us. Plus there was no way they would have fit in our suitcase after the shopping we did in NYC 😅 it's not acceptable to pay for something we didn't take from the room. They are not willing to refund, even for the lack of correct and early explanation about this charge.
As a word of warning, take photos of all the towels you receive and leave in your room at the end of your stay so you don’t get invented charges.

Needed to book a room for when I’d be back from my cruise. This was the perfect spot. Had I known, I would’ve stayed there the night before embarking the cruise.
It’s close to the port, the staff is nice, the room was clean and cozy. Next time I need to stay in the Brooklyn area I’ll definitely stay there. Continental breakfast was a plus in the morning and the fact that we could check out at noon instead of 11am was perfect.

The staff was excellent! The manager, Obed, was so helpful and supportive. Our officiants needed to print documents and he did so without question or hesitation.

We had a large block of rooms for our wedding and everyone was extremely accommodating and supportive. The location is great, the breakfast is wonderful. It's a must stay place for future visits!

This is a really great hotel in Red Hook, Brooklyn. It is a nice neighborhood! The parking option is additional 22.50 USD but not for cruise time. The front desk service was very accomodating and modern Specially Obed, very profesional. The hotel is very clean and the beds are comfy. My family and I will return to this hotel again.

The location near the Brooklyn cruise terminal brought us to this hotel. The outside is a plain red brick building. The neighborhood is sketchy. The lobby is one check-in desk, 2 sofas, and a vending machine. Reminds me of a youth hostel.
Then you get to the room. It is small, but extremely clean with all the amenities. The air conditioning worked well. The shower was hot. The room gives it the 3 star rating.
And there is breakfast included! Nothing continental about this breakfast. Hot eggs, sausages, breads, cereals, pancakes. Fresh fruit salad, fresh green salad, yogurt. Spinach or beef empanadas. All on real plates and coffee in real mugs.
The view from the room was a junk yard, but who cares?

Efficient staff, very warm environment. A quiet, safe neighbourhood.
South American appeal in their restaurant….breakfast was plentiful, with home cooked specialties.
Wraptors Restaurant nearby was recommended. Unbelievably delicious food terrific price and again, South American.
Near Cunard docks which is why it was selected .
