I wasn't familiar with Brooklyn before, but it was a lot of fun hanging out here. The staff was really nice and helpful and told me cool places to visit and eat. It was cleaner than the other hostel that I stayed at in Manhattan, and much cheaper too. Thanks guys!

This place has a certificate of occupancy as a 3 family house. The owners have put three and four bunk beds (6 to 8 people) in bedrooms meant for one or two people, which has created the overcrowded conditions mentioned in other reviews. The other guests are friendly, so there's that, but overall you should know that this is not...

The "cleaning staff" are people who have previously inhabited this establishment and therefore no previous experience in hygiene and health standards. The manager of the accommodation portrays a rather narcissistic undertone and a lack of interest in...

I think the owner fully takes advantage that hotels in NYC are expensive to fill its slums. I do not even want to imagine if there was a fire and we must...

I really enjoyed my stay at NYC Hostel. The location is in a very safe and clean neighborhood. The host is very friendly and the location is only 2 blocks from the subway and lower Manhattan is only 20 mins away. I highly recommend this location.

New York is super expensive on the accommodation front but this hostel was located in Brooklyn on public transport, clean and cheap with good hot water and friendly staff and owners- would stay again-would recommend :)
