We spent 10 days with Sue Michael and son Max, and it was splendid/ They have a lovely house in Brooklyn and we were made so welcome We had a very nice breakfast each morning with as much tea and coffee as we wanted and plenty of choices to eat. We highly recommend The Rugby Gardens.

Rugby Gardens is located close to my daughters home in Brooklyn. For me its a great place to stay when I visit them. The host Sue and Michael are always concern about their guest and are always pleasant to talk too and help with any information you may need to get into NY city. The subway is not far from...

Wonderful, gracious hosts who made us feel at home in their home. I will definitely return. French toast on Sunday was a special treat. And I so enjoyed visiting with Sue. Rugby Road and the surrounding area with its historic homes is surprising to find in New York City.

I stayed at the Rugby Gardens B&B for two nights. It was comfortable (everything you need provided). It was convenient (very close to Metro station, shops and restaurants). It was a congenial (hosts were helpful and readily available).

I usually do not write reviews and finally found some time from my busy schedule, as this was the first time we stayed in a B & B and did not know what to expect, but in this case we were so pleased and this was the first time we stayed in Brooklyn and this was a super place in...

First, the room we stayed in was clean and charming; and the shared bathroom was freshly re-done and immaculate. For a rented room, this place was really good. But this place is NOT what I would call a "bed and breakfast." I have stayed in countless bed and breakfasts all over the country (and the world), and what makes a...

We enjoyed our visit with Susan and Michael at Rugby Gardens B&B. Both were gracious and accommodating hosts. The breakfast was superb. When we arrived, we parked our car in Susan and Michael's driveway (at their suggestion) and left it there the entire time. No need to fight traffic when the Rugby Inn is a 4-5 minute walk to the...

The last time I stayed at Rugby Gardens I said that if ever again I found myself in New York I would stay here again. I followed good on my promise and do not regret it for one second. It's not just that the rooms are beautifully decorated....this time I was in a bright room whose colours suited my mood.....but...

We stayed for two nights, the experience was great. The room was nice and clean, the bathroom was clean and newly renovated. We loved the breakfast . Easy to find parking, silent area near the busy town. Would recommend this place to others.
