My husband Marek and I stayed 4 nights at Lake Five in early October 2016 in our motor home. The resort is just outside West Glacier – really nice location – near the park, off the highway and right on the lake. The site we picked had full hookups and was in the pine tree woods. The shower had plenty...

Thanks for writing the nice review and if you want to try us earlier so it's warmer we'll be happy to meet with your desire. We will be busier and you won't have the place so much to yourselves and you will find the most interesting bunch of diverse and friendly folks you've run into in a while. They're great...

Ron is very friendly and very accommodating. The cabin was right on the lake with a beautiful view! Very clean and pet friendly which made my stay with my pup awesome. The cabin was immaculate and very cozy. The only down side was the trains on the other side of the lake but I got used to them quickly. I...

Thanks for the nice review. We are happy you like our place, want to return and will recommend us to your friends. Trains on the other side of the lake are a fact of life darn it and while trains haul freight more efficiently than any form of transport they also remind us we're still in the real world. That...

I have immense respect for the folks who steward the very special shoreline and campground areas at Lake Five Resort. I have had blessed stays in the fall seasons of 2014 & 2015. This year 2016, unable to make my fall trip to L5R, I content myself to encourage others to experience this very special place. As a botanist and...

Thank you. It is especially gratifying to be appreciated for taking care of things and more so from a member of the scientific community, one engaged with nature. We like our customers when they leave it cleaner than when they arrived and if I get to leave this little piece of Montana nicer when I leave while seeing our place...

We stayed here Sept.26-29 2016. It is stunningly beautiful. This time of year had not crowds. Ron, the owner, was very friendly and accommodating. There were only 2 other people in camp. The fall colors around the lake were brilliant. The train comes through the trees across the lake but never disturbed us. The grounds are immaculate do to the...

Pulled in late September to get off the highway longing for some hookups after five nights without inside the park. Owner Ron is great and the place is quiet and beautiful, but I can imagine how busy it must be in the middle of summer with lots of families enjoying all of the amenities. Truly a wonderful place with quaint...

September is mighty nice and we're always telling our summer guests to try September but you might want to see how cool Lake Five is when we have a houseful. When there's hardly room for a tent our customers are fun to be around, calm and collected with kids and adults laughing while inclining off the slide or buzzing around...

A wonderful place to stay while in West Glacier. Unlike other campgrounds outside the park, Lake Five is not on the main road. It's a mile of so off the main road. The best part, it fronts a beautiful lake surrounded by mountains and capped-off by amazing sunsets. The property has history, including a one-of-a-kind log cabin camp office (dates...

It's always nice to be noticed by a customer from another state that has lots of lakes with cabin and campground opportunities rather like ours. If we are pleasing guys like you who see the other places and feel our Lake Five Resort operation is hanging in okay by comparison it lets us feel okay too. Thanks for the nice...

What a delightful discovery to have found this resort!! The rustic but very comfortable log cabin was perfect for us. The views of the lake and surrounding mountains create a peaceful setting for morning coffee and evening campfires. Ron and Cody are incredible hosts....so warm and friendly!! We hope to return next summer!! Loved it!!!!

Being sidecar enthusiasts makes you guys easier to get along with than run of the mill folks that just roll around in sedans and coupes, heavy on the ehs. Nonetheless, we're happy you like the place and hope you return soon. Thanks for the nice review. —Ron

Beautiful gem of a resort nestled between the woods and water. lovely lake for paddleboarding and swimming. Immaculately clean bathrooms. Camping there was a welcome reprieve before the cacaphony of West Glacier. I would love to find an excuse to make it to this little corner of the world again---it was really a magical place.

Thank you. While we are partial to Lake Five and our camp, what makes it really special is our customers recognizing our work and the place and they participate in the process and make it nicer with their presence. You are welcome. —Ron

We stayed at this resort for two nights and loved it. The lake that it fronts is absolutely gorgeous and the campground itself is a beautiful, wooded area, with each of the sites tucked in to the trees. The facilities were spotless and the main office had a lot of those little necessities you need (like ice cream!). The resort...

I think that this camp site is the most ideal for a family that would like to relax and have a stress free vacation. There are tons of RV and tent camp sites. Well darn. I guess we did okay except for that darned slow filling washing machine. The machines are old Maytags and almost bulletproof compared to new stuff designed to throw away in five years, ten if lucky. The quarter time on the dryer has not been shortened in 25 years so could make up for a slow fill on the...
