We stayed here prior to an expedition kayaking trip. We were two vegetarians and an omnivore and everyone was happy with the breakfast and dinners. Like all the other lodges, they will pick you up from the airport. There's a nearby walk to an ocean view. There are friendly horses. There are board games to play. Our fellow guests were...

We stayed in the Annie Mae Lodge for 2 nights in August. We preferred to stay in an 'all inclusive' lodge since the dining and transportation options are very limited in Gustavus. We also didn't want to stay on the National Park lodge due to some so-so reviews. Out of the private lodges in town, we chose Annie Mae since...

My sister and I stayed here for 4 nights and we can't say enough about the lodge, Rachel, Tom and all the staff! We chose the meal option and it was a great choice! All food that we had was so very good. There was a seafood, meat and vegetarian option at each dinner. They make their own bread which...

The people that work at Annie Mae went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience possible. Rooms are clean and comfortbale. I will definitely be back!

My wife and I spent four nights at the lodge while visiting Gustavus for our nephew's high school gradutaion. What a wonderful place! Proprietors Rachel and Jason were fantastic hosts, making us feel quite at home and comfortable. Mexican night was especially nice when we got to meet many locals and visiting guests, and the surrounding scenery was, of course,...

We enjoyed our stay, but enjoyed the homemade dinner even more! The fish was to die for!! They served Alaskan Amber Ale, which my husband loved. We even got to spot a bald eagle during dinner. The hosts were very accommodating, providing rides to and from our tours at Glacier Bay. I will say, if you are shy, this may...

Probably the best food served over a 5 day stay anywhere.. friendly staff, attention to detail was high. Gustavus is a small town with lots to see, surrounded with beauty. You can walk to the beach, or use one of their bicycles to ride around to sight see. Great fishing is everywhere.

Our hosts at Annie Mae Lodge were down-to-earth innkeepers. The property is close to the departure point for those embarking on the Sea Wolf. Our host picked us up at the Gustavus airport, then delivered us to the dock where the Sea Wolf was gearing up for our excursion into Glacier Bay. The lodge is gorgeous: it's rooms are well-equipped,...

I was on a Mt Travel Sobek kayak trip and the Annie Mae was our Gustavus base. Located near the water in a beautiful meadow-like surroundings. Wildlife everywhere - including wolf howls at night. Comfortable rooms with your own bathroom. Lots of place to tuck in for a good read. Bikes available for the short trip into "town". OH THE...

“They had automatic night lights near our room that made sleeping difficult, however all the rooms are nice, and I would take an inside room if light bothers you (as well it is dark only from 11 pm to 2 am when we were there). There is ATT 4G 1 bar on the NW side (sunset) rooms.”
