Given the remote location, I am a little more generous with my rating than the property probably deserves. However, it beats the heck out of a tent on a cool night !!!!! It is a tired property.....needs some real TLC. But, on arrival, I was immediately greeted and checked in, possibly in record time.....and the gal was quite pleasant. The...

Stayed at the Inn two nights while visiting Great Basin National Park. The rooms at the Inn are small, bare bones places to sleep. I understood this in advance and was fine as such. My uneasiness had to do with room security or lack of it. The doors lock was a simple turn knob, on a push in door- no...

We ate here twice. Breakfast was very good and every thing was cooked to order. We also had dinner here and it was just so so. The salad was fresh and the $3 beer and $4 wine glass was a plus. Understand that this is the only restaurant and gas station for 80 miles.

We spent the night here bridging two days at Great Basin Nat'l Park. It was very convenient to spend the night here as Ely is an hour away. The price was good too. Our bed was a little stiff and hard, but we figured that would be the case in advance. Great views of the highway and desert right outside!

The room was clean and nicely furnished. We were on the front row and never heard the traffic on Hwy 6. The room has a fridge and microwave. The table and 2 chairs made it easy to relax and watch TV as you enjoy a snack. The only complaint was the bed, it was quite hard. It was difficult to...

The Border Inn is a decent spot to spend a night but nothing fancy. Its biggest asset is the close proximity to the Great Basin NP. There is plenty of room for parking your vehicle, and the gas station is almost a necessity as there aren't that many gas stations around in that area. The restaurant is alright but -...

Since it is the only place around it seems there is no incentive to be anything more than a place to sleep. No pool, no wi-fi, no breakfast. It is overpriced for what you get, but if you need a room in the area, what can you do? The room was clean, it smelled like cleaning supplies, the shower spigit...

It's not the most luxurious place by a long shot but for an area so far from everywhere it's great. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable after a long day hiking and the staff really nice. There was a fire in the park while were there but the folks still took great care of us even as they were...

We ended up at the Border Inn by accident. We'd booked another nearby motel to go to Great Basin and at the last minute, they realized they were overbooked, so they put us here. It's a complex on the border, with the motel in Utah and the gas station, restaurant, and casino in Nevada. We had dinner and drinks in...

Stayed here in an RV in July 2016. It is seriously NOTHING more than a dirt parking lot behind the general store/diner. Check in/register at the store counter. There is absolutely no shade. It is full hook ups, however, the moment we turned on the water to the RV - it clogged up our water filter. We had to replace...
