Our seventh year spending this weekend in Gatlinburg. We have been staying at the Gatlinburg inn for the last 5 of them. Once again we were delighted with our stay. American travel in the smokies as it has been and should continue to stay. The staff, as always, was great. They

The Good: I love how thos histronic hotel has been remodled but keep the charm. This being said it's an OLD hotel the smell reminds you of that. It's clean and keep up but tjat old musty smell is just there. Tje wood paneling and old dresser adds to the charm. The nicest

We have stayed at the Gatlinburg Inn many times. Friendly service, clean rustic rooms, clean refreshing outdoor swimming pool, a great breakfast, and enjoy the front porch, rocking chairs and fireplace. The Gatlinburg Inn is located in the heart of Gatlinburg making for an

I don’t think they have an issue with bikers, pretty sure that manager isn’t there anymore. Honestly, I don’t think there will be a problem. I also have a special needs child with autism. I understand your fears! I usually try to get a room on the first floor! I wouldn’t worry about it! It’s Gatlinburg and I guarantee there will be others there who are not exactly quiet! I wouldn’t call ahead, because why should you do that! Your child has just as much right to be there just like anyone else! I never call ahead or warn people about my son, he’s a child, not a puppy! Plus you set yourself up for possible issues when you do that! Just go and enjoy your trip! Everyone there is kind. Not sure about a security guard? Maybe an old review!! I would focus on more recent reviews!

Its a good little breakfast. You make some of it yourself...Waffles, pancakes. We have been twice and there were eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, the waffles and pancakes, and I think a few cereal and bagel options. Great little breakfast before a morning of shopping at the outlet mall, walking the town, or just getting in the attractions.

Our front room had a balcony. Do not know if any rooms have 3 doubles. We enjoyed our stay. Hope to return soon.

What time is breakfast served?
Breakfast is from 7am till 10 am... But many times I have gotten up a bit late and ran down at 9:45/ 9:50...The ladies are awesome and not about shutting it down promptly at 10.. If there are a few who go in, by no means do they turn them away. They just stop cooking and start cleanup... Its a be respectful of the ladies cooking and needing to go about their day just like we all do.. Enjoy it, take it to your room, but the atmosphere in the dining room is well worth the getting up for.. Wonderful people to meet from all over and for me I love to just visit and meet and enjoy everyone with my coffee after breakfast... great breakfast for sure....enjoy and good luck...safe travels..
