Our stay was great! The staff are wonderful. We will definitely stay there again. The rooms are very clean and a great size. The location downtown is perfect. Parking was easy. The free breakfast has eggs, sausage, gravy and biscuits, muffins, yogurt and a waffle station.

arrived on 12-26-2016. What made this great was having my Son and my grandchildren . The staff allowed the 2 year old to roam all over the lobby. They spoke to her by her name..Ellie. This is just another example of how the Inn feels like a second home. We saw returning guests from last year. You interact with the...

Thank you so much for the positive response from your December stay. At the Historic Gatlinburg Inn we love our guests and consider you all family and it humbles us to know that you've chosen us to be your home away from home while visiting us here in the Smokies. We look forward to seeing you on your next visit!

We stayed here for the experience and charm as well as the fantastic walking distance to everything in Gatlinburg. This place has lots of old charm, creaky floors, steep steps, old pictures, actual keys (not swipe cards) to unlock your door with, and all. It felt more like an old home than a modern hotel which was unique. The only...

THe hotel is historic, so bear that in mind. No microwave or fridge in the standard room. However, it is very clean and is a beautiful inn. The staff are super-friendly and helpful, there is a large sitting room with a fireplace, as well as an outdoor fireplace and rocking chairs on the porch. It couldn't be in a better...

Thank you so much for your recent review on TripAdvisor. My staff is, in my opinion, the best and always work hard and go the extra mile to ensure that your Gatlinburg lodging experience not only meets, but exceeds your expectations. While we don't offer microwaves and refrigerators in all rooms (something we hope to rectify in the future) we...

I love Gatlinburg Inn, in fact we are staying there now, post fire. It is right in the middle of everything, 755 Parkway. It was built in the 1930s and has the feel of a National Park Lodge inside. Not "updated" in that way that causes a historic place to lose its charm. Retro. Remarkably clean. Friendly. WiFi, breakfast, affordable....

We have walked past this hotel a hundred times but never thought about staying here. We had reservations at another hotel, then the unfortunate fire came into play. It was though it was meant to be for us to stay here, this being the oldest hotel in Gatlinburg. The hotel lobby was warm and inviting. When you came thru the...

Thank you for your kind words. We are glad that you enjoyed your recent stay at the Historic Gatlinburg Inn. Of all of the comments we hear, the most common is that it "feels like being at grandmas house" and to us, that's the highest compliment we could ever receive. We have spent a lot of time and money trying...

This hotel is very convinient being center of town and close to all attractions. I think the hotel has the historic feel and will appeal to mostly the older group of people. It is very nice and comfortable. I have stayed here several times, the staff is very nice.

It is a lovely, quaint hotel in the heart of Gatlinburg. Great parking at front of hotel, cute outdoor fire with rocking chairs and staff are incredibly welcoming. Our room was comfortable with balcony overlooking lovely scenery, but the walls are a little thin, and as a family hotel in an area where people vacation it tends to get busy...
